In this thread, we voice potential concerns we have over games that haven't yet come out. Pointless, yes. But venting confusion can be a good experience.

I'll begin: I'm concerned that the Joker won't be featured very much in Arkham City.

I'm concerned that Half Life 2 Episode 3 will not be released.... Wait, does that still make it 'upcoming'?

Blade Kitten 2 might not come out, and it looks like it might jump straight into the deep end, and losing the silly humour which made the dark bits of the original work.

I don't know what to expect from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I hope it can walk the walk.

My concern: There's nothing at E3 I'm particularly excited about and no games I'm looking forward to play. So I'm sticking to everything I missed from 2003-2009 :p

Not entirely serious, maybe.

I'm concerned that Diablo 3 won't come out till next year.

I'm concerned that The Old Republic just won't be very fun (Been waiting for it for such a long time, been burned by other MMO's before after waiting for them for years. Feels bad man.)

You cant beat the perfection that was Deus Ex 1, but I'm cautiously optimistic after PC Gamer's 30 hour test run.

Skyrim: I'm hoping the country is at least as big as Cyrodill but I'm hoping it feels as big as Morrowind.

Catherine: I'm hoping my GF will let me have it. In all seriousness though, I hope the puzzles aren't half-assed. I wanna earn my virtual, anime, bewbage.

Mass Effect 3: I really hope standard ammunition is unlimited, like in ME1. I doubt it though since grenades are still strictly a skill like they were in ME2.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes: Ohter than hoping they're the first traditional Pokemon games on the 3DS, I'm just hoping that I'm right about this theory about those games. The 10-year anniversary for the originals are coming up and Red, Green, Silver and, Gold were all remade.

I'm concerned that the next Brothers in Arms, the game that I am a complete fanboy of, will turn into CoD/Bulletstorm next release due to it's trailer and Gearbox's nature to make funny as hell games as of late, compared to the absolute seriousness that BiA focuses on, and it looks like they are taking away any strategic aspect whatsoever. :/

I'm worried that Mass Effect 3 will try dumbing itself down too much to appeal to more people, which doesn't make much sense in my opinion as it already has a huge fanbase.

Other then that, I can't think of anything... maybe that Dead Island will feel like a more realistic-looking Dead Rising 2, but that won't be a bad thing if it does come to pass.

Will Rage be a proper shooter, or also suffer from 2-guns, sprint-button, butt-melee, regen-health, no-quicksave and an overrealiance on iron-sighted assault rifles?

Ya Deus Ex is a really worry here, everything I seen sofar seems to aim at the super casual market (which will just kill the entire feel/purpose of the game).
And ofcourse it's all gray and grayer, mixed with more gray and then polished up with some gray to really make the gray shine, yay :S

I pretty much wanted to say this. The news we have heard from BioWare and EA ("we want CoDs audience") as well as recent developments (DA2) concern me.

I'm also a little concerned about whether Skyrim will actually be as awesome as the trailer has lead me to believe. But it's not really based on anything (other than the general trend in gaming and "streamlining"), so it's more of a general concern that you never know how something will turn out until it's there.

But the thing I'm most concerned about is that I might not play either of these awesome looking games. Either because they won't run on my PC (likely), or because I rarely have the time to get deeply involved with a game and play for hours nowadays.

You, my dear sir, are quite clearly talking out of your arse.

The dominant colour scheme of every single bit of Deus Ex: HR seen so far has been gold/yellow.

I'm concerned that all the focus, reviewing, and celebration is on games that HAVEN'T COME OUT yet. It says something that two days after Bioshock Infinite comes out, it will have dropped from all headlines in favor of whatever's releasing next week.

Take a look at the games you OWN and find something to like about them.

I'm worried about Prototype 2, apparently Activision slashed the budget the team got and they had to lay off half the team, so I'm pretty worried about that.

BioShock Infinite, worried about how they are going to handle a protagonist who can talk. I mean if they handle it poorly the atmosphere of BioShock Infinite is going to die, which is really the main selling point of the first BioShock game.

I'm worried Halo wont be the same without bungie.

I'm worried about Mass Effect 3, because of the horrible mess that was DA2

and I'm worried about horrible kinect controls on every kinect game coming out. (I really don't want that $150 to be a waste)

Human Revolution for me too. I really, really want it to succeed in being a deserved sequel to the first Deus Ex, but apart of me is nervous it'll instead be a sequel to Invisible War.
