... Just as a thought, does anybody remember Cannon Fodder?

It was big over here in good old blighty in the mid 90's, and according to Wiki it was available on 3DO, Acorn Archimedes, Amiga, Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar, Atari ST, Game Boy Color, PC, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Super NES.

did it make it to the US? who remembers it and who loved it?

I THINK he means England. It was all in the next part of the sentence ;)

Also, Cannon Fodder kicked ARSE! Many, many, many of my childhood hours were spent playing that glorious little game :) That and The Lost Vikings...

Yes, here = England. blighty = england for those who don't know.

Cannon Fodder was a top-down game controlling a little squad of army grunts taking out the enemy. It was so simple and so wonderful and a great many people fell in love with it.

Here's a link if you want to have a quick play of it, other than that just google it.
