Part of anything new is that transition period where everyone gets used to their new surroundings. While we work out the last of our kinks, post about the changes here.

I apparently do not have permission to edit anything that I post on the forums. It makes me feel disenfranchised.

Are you getting the button that says you can edit or what is happening specifically? More detail so I can iron out the details please. :D

I do get the edit button, but when I use it I'm taken to a new page that says "You do not have permission to edit this post."

I am experiencing the same issue. This is when attempting to edit my own post, which is the only time I see the edit button appear.

Yeah, that's my issue too. I haven't been attempting to edit anyone else's posts. ;)

One other thing:

I am fairly certain (and by fairly, I mean 99.9% sure) that I did not make that last post at 8:07pm today, since, well, it hasn't occurred yet. If in fact I did, I would like to report a temporal anomaly bug in this very forum *grin*

Your last post shows up as 4:07 PM on my screen, Araman. None of the timestamps appear out of order to me. I'm in U.S. Eastern time.

I'm not sure what kind of hocus pocus determines who sees what timestamps, but it would seem that there's either too much hocus, at the expense of poor pocus, or vice versa.

At the time of writing that post it was showing 20:07. They snuck a quick fix in on me ;)

It'd be nifty if each forum page displayed more than fifteen posts.
I predict that some form of Web Magic will soon make this possible.

It's growing on me.

On registration, I put in a password that was too short. The page refreshed, informing me of the error and taking the info with it except...for my birthdate.

So I'm born today. Happy birthday to me!

Might want to pass all the data in POST... ;)

Boards are a pretty handy tool when they work properly. Now to test them out upon request. :)

Okay, this should all be taken care of. Yay for typos in variable names. Let me know if you find anything else. :D Thanks!

Alright, I registered.

It magically sent me an e-mail that mystically confirmed my e-mail address and whisked me away to this land of magical mystical wonder.

It was magical ;)
