Basically this is the opposite of the Biggest Badass ever thread. Who is the biggest failure as a protagonist has no special abilities(or regular human one they have are sub-bar)are stupid and basically make you feel like you could do thier job better.

!NOTE! do not say Master Chief because the only way you find major flaws with him is using the legendary version of him(the Difficulty setting) or nitpicking

I'm not tagging a poll to this because I can't think of enough options at the moment.

Weakest. I would say Abe because he's as thin as a stick and uses his mind powers and farts to kill people, but the amount of damage he's substained in his lifetime is enough to make him pretty hardcore.

The midget in Ghosts n' Goblins.

What the fuck type of plate armor takes one hit, then comes off?
And why isn't he at least wearing something UNDER it??

Guybrush Threapwood? He's rubbish on almost every level, apart from the ability to combine ridiculous objects with other ridiculous objects.

Guybrush Threepwood is invincible! He's been drowned, blown up, shot out of a cannon, been tied to a mast in the middle of a huge gunfight and still he survives!

As for abilities, psssh. He has a way with the ladies, a hilarious sense of humor and really big pockets!

/end MI fanboy rant

The kid from "A Boy and His Blob". His special abilities include feeding jellybeans to an imaginary friend, and... well, that's it.
Damn, I was gonna say that one. Kudos for being old like me!

Also for honorable mention: Any protagonist in a Silent Hill game, except Origins. That dude can indeed wander around with handfuls of TVs.

And the Princess from SMB2.

Mario. You'd think that after Bowser has kidnapped the princess so many times, he'd finally kill the dude, but noooo.

Effing Polka from Eternal Sonata. Towards the end of the game, when I had constant access to all characters, I enjoyed using everyone in my party, from Chopin and his stick to Beat and his rapid-fire shotgun. Except Polka. She attacks really slowly, does mediocre damage, gets hit a lot and has some terrible special attacks. I just levelled her up so that if the game forced me to play her, I'd be ready.

Effing Polka...

True, she's supposed to be the healer type, but her healing skills are rubbish as well compared to Viola's Heal Arrow.

Truth be told though, I still prefer her to Beat, because Beat has such a long animation reset after firing at range and can't go straight into a special move after firing for at least a second or so, and his melee attacks are just as weak and slow as Polka's.
