Do you have any addictions/obsessions that aren't quite normal (not including games/consoles)? Anything you have to do, or has to be a certain way, other wise you get uncomfortable? Or do you just have an addictive personality?

Personally, doors have to be closed. The door to our sitting room is currently open and once this is posted I will have to shut it. Crazy but true.

I also have an addictive personality. Current addiction - Escapist Forum. I spend every spare moment on here. It's not normal or healthy.

And sorry to anyone with majors addictions/OCD etc. This is not meant as offensive, I am not being mean, I am just curious. And currently uncomfortable. WHY DIDN'T I SHUT THAT DOOR??????

And sorry if this has been done before. Tried searching and couldn't find anything similar.

Yeah, I'm the same about doors. I can't even sleep if my bedroom door is open. I also have to have a fan on while I sleep or some sort of consistent background noise otherwise it takes me hours to fall asleep.

No worries man, I'm OCD about all sorts of stuff.

I'm a tad obsessed with Symmetry for one thing, if I scratch my left eye, I have an almost instant reaction of scratching the right.

This goes for anything, I feel akward when eating with proper utensils because they're different weights and shapes.

And there's always intense organization. It better be stacked nicely or I'm going to go adjust it.

Yeah... I get offended when my roommate leaves stuff out... and it kinda annoys me a little more than it should.

OP: Don't worry too much about repeat threads, people need to learn to calm down about it.

Ever walked down the road and stood on a pavement crack with one foot then felt the need to have to stand on another pavement crack with your other foot in the same place? Used to do it as a child, was annoying as hell, don't realy do it now though lol. I found it quite unusual.

Guess it's a sort of symetry thing.

(Yes, there is a difference)
Plus I always have a bedtime routine, that I must do before sleeping...

I'm the same with the addictive personality, Left 4 Dead is currently the hot topic, haven't been able to get at my computer this weekend so I've watched endless youtube videos of it instead >.<

Also, I erm, have to wash my hands a lot. Not as much as someone with actual OCD, but about 5-10 times per hour, which tops everyone else I know, who seem to only wash the old graspers morning and night. Think of the disease!

All of the CDs in my CD wallet are alphabetized and FACING THE RIGHT WAY UP. It takes a great deal of time and effort to shift all of the other CDs one pocket down to make room every time I buy a new one.

I remember though, at a New Years party I let this girl there look through my CDs and as she did she would RANDOMLY TAKE CDS AND TURN THEM AROUND IN THEIR POCKETS FOR NO REASON! She ignored me when I asked her to stop and it took a great deal of will to keep me from losing my temper. <_<;

I have this tendency to mix and match my clothes. For example, I will never wear black shirt with a black trouser.

I actually haz OCD, and I am so glad that it's just a mild case.

Example, when I'm at school, I try as hard as possible not to touch bathroom doors, I even use the paper-towel door opening thing. If there's no paper towels, I maneuver myself so that I can get the door open w/o my skin touching it.
Also, whenever I see something nasty I constantly wipe my mouth. It's as if I don't the nasty thing is on my mouth.
I used to have a problem with socks, if they didn't feel exactly right on my foot I would cast them off and become upset and angry. Same thing with shoes, if they didn't work right, time to start over.

Right now, it's my laptop. I get a little bit... myeeeh, if it's not clean around the mouse-pad area.
