Ok for the 2 days my external hard drive where I keep all my fap material was not working. And I could not fix it for the life of me. So today I booted it up and no surprise it still didn?t work. So then I went into the Manager in Windows 7 64bit and looked at the different drives Windows could see. On a hunch I restarted my external and viola it worked. WHAT THE FUCK! Nothing I do to fix it, works, but staring at it really hard in the Manager worked! I hate my computer sometimes....

So does your computer do anything that makes you want to scream.

My computer constantly forces me to install updates I don't want.
Every time I click the option to turn off automatic updates my computer turns them back on. I think it's telling me just because I hate to be hip and trendy doesn't mean he wants to suffer the same fate. Darn you Windows 7 PC! I paid all that money yet you disobey me. I paid for VI not AI.

I used to have this problem. I believe it was an auto update with java, flash, or windows.... It was something really stupid.

My laptop keeps turning off my wifi every time it goes to sleep or shuts down, so I have to turn it on again manually. Does get really annoying when I go to do something mid-game, come back and laptop has gone to sleep and disconnected wifi -_-

Subtle.... Yes yes we all know apple tends to be more stable and better for casual users.

Sad thing is I use alot of different programs that are simply not availble on apple.

Windows Vista slows downs like crazy if I restart the computer, but from a cold boot, it zips to my login faster than any thing I've used.

Ubuntu has slowdowns after I start Amarok, and only after Amarok.

My computer automatically opens a bunch of programs upon turning the computer. Also, my monitor takes about 5 to 10 minutes to "warm up" before it eventually, properly turns on.

My work mouse doesn't like me. Whenever I'm doing something (work related or not), the mouse will either jump to the bottom right of the screen to minimize everything, or the top right and hit close. No rhyme or reason, it just does it. And only to those two places.

Makes work really, really annoying sometimes.

Also my keyboard is dying so it leaves out letter and spaces sometime.

Edit: That 'sometime' instead of 'sometimes' was not intentional. I promise.

Whenever I change inputs on my TV from my PC to the 360 while the PC is on I need to replug in the HDMI cable, otherwise the PC doesn't detect my TV speakers for some reason. Really fucking annoying.

My computer has a weird issue of not being able to turn on again after its been turned off. The only way to turn it back on is to unplug it and wait an hour or more.

Also the monitor takes some time to stay on. When you first start up the computer the monitor shuts itself off after 2 seconds. You gotta unplug and replug in the monitor input until it decides just to stay on.

Its an 8 year old computer with a few small upgrades. Sigh... no idea whats going on. It still works once its started up... well unless you count a brown out in which case your fucked and have to wait a few hours before you can start up the computer again.

Maybe it's overheating, bit of compressed air trough the vents could help

The fancontroller in my main rig has a case of amnesia sometimes, it will not remember my fan setting or the time, even after replacing the onboard battery. and it has awesome timing (middle of the night) to panic and give me a temprature alert for a second *BEEP*

If you press start and then type msconfig you can see and control startup programs should watch out what you turn off though

It's weird. Sometimes it'll stay on for days at a time, other times it'll only last a couple of hours. >_>

aah yes, the computer gremlins at work, only other thing i can think of is broken RAM, hope you find a solution, that whould really bug me if it happenend to me

It handles Java worse than my 7 year old computer.

Even after dowloading 64 bit version and changing priority to high, Minecraft WILL crash, quickly.
