Surprised that in nearly twelve hours after this post that no one has made a comment. So I'll be the weird honest guy here.
Living outside of the city and near a highway, I get more than my fair share of dead skunk smells drifting across the land from stupid skunks trying to cross the road and clearly not making it, usually around 1:30 in the morning here. The babies don't smell as bad as the mature adults (those can linger for a good eight hours if the wind is right), but they still can make your nose hair curl up. I actually find the smell reassuring since it means that's at least one more skunk that won't be coming up in our yard.
Cow crap is another such item that people don't like but I don't mind so much personally. Everyone acts like it is the worst smell they have ever encountered, so they are clearly lying about the smell of their own dookie fumes. At least when passing by a cow pasture with a couple of fresh land mines baking in the sun and stinking things up for a good quarter mile, nobody can tell when you fart in the car. They can probably still hear it, but it won't match the intensity or strength of a good twenty head of cattle dropping mud-butt in a field. It's weird, but funny to me.
