Weirdest Video Game Glitch?

What's the most obscure glitch that's ever happened to you in a game?

For me, it would have to be something that happened on Dragon Age 2. Upon starting the game everything seemed to be normal, except for -one- out of place thing. Hawke and the rest of my party had their arms out like an 8-year-old pretending to be an aeroplane. This went on through through regular gameplay, as well as cutscenes. No matter how much I reloaded my saves, the glitch would not GTFO. I eventually decided to be a man and deal with it.

On the upside, now I can tell people that I beat Dragon Age 2 as an aeroplane.

For me it'd have to be the infamous 'Oblivion-corpse-in-door' glitch where if you placed a dead NPC in a doorway and closed the door they'd flop excitedly like they've just found a hidden stache of cocaine in the woodwork. Not very original of me, I know, but you can't argue with a classic.

It was funny for a bit when a recently killed Venezuelan in Mercenaries 2 start having an epileptic fit, then flew into the air and stretched across the sky. Then it just got annoying.

Flying squids in Minecraft, They have evolved to the point where water is no longer needed or the spawn points are messed up.

Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast, i think that was the full title, well anyway at one point in the game a cutscene kicks in useing the game engine and two characters start to fight basicly it goes on for a few seconds then one escapes, atleast thats what is supposed to happen i remember once while getting to that point the fight started and rather than running away the guy actualy killed the other one causing the game to say i failed because he died, both funny and anoying.

In Tomb Raider Underworld, as I was heading into Asgard, Lara's ponytail froze in one location. For the rest of the level, there was a brown line that led from Lara's head back to where her ponytail got stuck.

Try the glitch where the icon for crows and the icon for deer get mixed, so you can see deer and horses running in the sky.

But the best glitch for me would be the Super Metroid glitch that could reset the game, putting you back at the start with all bosses respawned, all powerups back, and all doors locked, but you keep all your items and gear. Did this three times, and wound up with over 500 missiles.

Never had that glitch happen to me, sadly.

There have been a few times when I was in Shadow Of The Colossus and fell through the environments into oblivion. Actually, it was my first ever death (er, second, but I don't count me jumping from the top of the stairs to see how far Wander could survive a fall). I was just climbing around in the tutorial area before #1 and then...fell through the rock face. Excellent start lol.

More recently I was marathoning it to Christen my new TV. I was trotting through the forest with Agro (on the way to #6) and then suddenly Agro jumped and the environment just vanished 0__0. Agro was just tilted over, falling in endless limbo. I just stared at it for a few minutes laughing my ass off (also remembering the first time it happened). Then I grabbed my camera (didn't want to chance my capture card not working) and caught the last few seconds where Agro kept falling and then smacked into an invisible floor. I think it was the game telling me to stop playing and go to the bathroom or finally grab some dinner.

I wish I'd saved a screenshot of it, but it happened too fast for me to react...

I was just finishing up Mass Effect 2, where the Illusive Man informs you of the last moral choice, and for some reason his face wasn't showing up on the hologram, it was really weird. But then it showed a larger view of the area and the Illusive Man's gigantic face was staring at me through a hole in the wall.

me and my friends were playing cod black ops online on the launch level, while working our way down under the rocket to reach the flag there was a guy from the other team swimming in mid air just going round in circles with his gun rotating in front of his head, he couldnt do anything nor could we shoot him he stayed like that for the entire match, ive got to say best glitch ive ever seen in a game and also causing one friend to almost have a fit with laughing so hard

A beta hole in oblivion was very fun. It was at the very start where the area has rats stuck behind a gate with a few goblins around. Jumping into the beta hole did a variety of things, it was terribly amusing but weird at the same time, it took about 3 or 4 weeks for them to fix it and by then I'd already lost all respect for the Xbox360.... then the PC gaming years started and the fun really began.

Once, when I was working as a games tester, I found a bug in some flash game where if you performed a specific sequence of actions, the game would crash after 3 minutes and 27 seconds. Every time. Must´ve been due to a memory leak, or something
I was quite proud of that one ;-)

Also, in one of the first builds of Assassins Creed 2, after dying Ezio would always spawn on a horse, standing on top of a building inside Florence

Probably not a bug as such, but random as hell

The weirdest glitch that happened to me was in Halo 3. Every single character model was stretched so high, they didn't fit on the map. It was hilarious.

I don't remember that at all. Favorite Star Wars game, hands down. The Force Unleased can suck it.
