Well, it's that time of year that the UK festivals are announcing their headliners, and I'm guessing a fair few people are interested here. Download have so far got Avenged Sevenfold and System Of A Down. Not to everyone's tastes I suppose, but fitting. And Sonisphere announced Slipknot, to the joy of many, many people.

But then...

Biffy Clyro.

Biffy Clyro?!

I thought it was worth sharing, to the dissapointment of thousands. I mean, this is a festival that was headlined by Iron Maiden and Rammstein last year. Metallica headlined the year before. It's batshit crazy. So, whilst we're on the topic of bizarre choices, feel free to share your favourite 'WTF' festival choices, and also rage if you like.

I went to the first UK Sonisphere, it was ace, thye had the most metal line-up ever, Lamb of God, Metallica, Machine Head, NIN, Mastodon aaaand...

Limb Bizkit.

Yeahhhh.

To be fair I like Biffy Clyro, wouldnt mind seeing them at all, but at the same festival as Slipknot? Hmm.

Booking GnR for anything these days is a bizarre choice. Anyone would have thought that people liked Chinese Democracy... Eurgh.

Nothing anounced for Latitude yet, yeah I know it gets a lot of schtick for being the "middle class" festival. *Ahem* All festivals are upwards of £150 aren't they? Latitude is infact comparitively cheaper than the others. So what does that make Reading, the working class festival? I'm going to Lat because I always go, its in my price range, it's cleaner than other festivals, my mates are going. I can't afford Reading and I'll be fucked I'm going to V Festival.

Wacken, a black metal festival in Germany which I frequent one year got bullet for my valentine!!! I mean they don't really go with the theme. Emperor were main headliners the year before and childeren of bodom are always up the scedule. Luckily you couldn't hear a thing they did for the heckling of aroun 200k people.
