Blink

The very episode you, OP, watched.

Yeah, I can speak for a lot of people when I say that.

The Happening. Like when the little old lady just bashes her own head into the window.
Something about insane, suicidal people just really creeps me the fuck out. Even zombies which may do the same things, the same actions, creep me out less since they are just animated dead, basically nothing more than puppets, not just nuts.

Same thing happens in a book called Down Among the Dead Men by Simon R Green.
Bunch of people went nuts and started killing themselves. Was not able to sleep after that.
you mean that scene at the end of the film?
that was hilarious, it didnt even look like a person doing it, looked like a crash dummy or something.

But some of those deaths were pretty grisly.

I can't tell if you're serious...

I'm a massive Doctor Who fan and what not, but I have never found any episode or movies and other series would stop me from sleeping.

I've always been pretty easy to freak out, so I make a point of not watching things that might disturb me. When I was younger, a well-meaning family member gave me a picture book of Edgar Allan Poe's stories. That was a bad few nights...

When I was like...twelve I think I watched the original Night of the Living Dead. I'm the type who overanalyzes and really tries to put himself in the character's shoes. So naturally I had a lot of trouble sleeping that night. An overactive imagination, an old and creaky house, and the rest is history.

Scary Movies don't effect me anymore rather they make me laugh with uproarious giddyness. The only reason i wouldn't be sleeping is when I try and figure out random plot points in various films.

I know what you mean, Blink scared the hell out of me too, but it's nowhere near as bad as The Time of Angels when they show up again.

L.o.L The new one is crap when compared to the old one.

Yer, I had the same problem as the OP.

Damn, I loved Blink. The paranoia shot at the end was pure gold too.
But ignore me, I have a very odd "fear" response.

Something I can say probably freaks most people out seriously the first time they watch it though:
Marble Hornets.

I watched it a while ago and I lost some sleep over that, but after Entry 24 (I think) it got boring, and I can rewatch the episodes and simply admire the camera techniques and cleverness.
Entry 26 was a lovely return to form though, because it actually had Slender Man in after quite a while of nothing particularly interesting.

The Blair Witch Project, and that's pretty much it. I usually stay away from horror, but even so, most horror hasn't affected me that much except that one film. Ironically, the only thing keeping me up right now is the fact I've spent an entire night awake at university in a computer cluster trying (and failing) to revise for an exam I have in about two and a half hours...

I watched The Human Centipede trailer. Yep. Go look it up if you haven't seen it - I guarantee you will not shut your eyes for three weeks without seeing that thing writhing over and over behind your eyelids.

When I was younger I wasn't dumb enough to watch scary movies right before going to bed, and so when I watched Alien for the first time at about 3 in the afternoon, I was already mostly over the whole "aliens gonna kill you" thing. I've never had trouble sleeping, but I am now slightly afraid of the dark thanks to movies.
