How is everyone today? Was it like my day?

I got home today and saw something very interesting in the mail:

Anyone remember this?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/118636-EA-Agrees-to-Settlement-in-Antitrust-Suit

Well guess who's $64.14 richer than he was yesterday!?!? THIS GUY!!!! (you can't see me through the screen but I am currently pointing my thumbs at myself)

Very unexpected as I never thought we'd see anything about this. I filled that thing out over a year ago and never expected to actually GET anything. A very welcomed surprise.

So for obvious reasons, tippy2k2 is a very happy fella this day. How about you? Any nice surprises lately? Score big on a test you expected to fail? Big raise at the office? Your favorite S&M store got that limited edition whip you thought was off the shelves? Do tell!!!

I just learned Funimation dubbed another season of Fairy Tail and just got the rights to dub all 175 episodes. Nice little surprise for me as my will to watch that show grinds to a halt when I watched it subbed.

You bought that many NFL games?
The numbers that article quotes have got to be wrong (they were not "official" at the time of the writing; just the estimates based on whatever legal people base those things on).

I reported five NFL games (two last gen and three this gen). Those numbers were the expected numbers but evidently they were way off since I received almost three times more money than the $19.43 that the article quotes.

Nice, very nice. wonder where the estimate went wrong.

Well it's funny how you brought up that limited edition S&M gear

Nothing exciting but I just looked up all my assignment dates and they're all miles away. I thought the one was due for like the 15th but it's in December apparently. I don't procrastinate. I plan. All while playing games and watching anime of course. If I follow computing into game design I can say I was researching. That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

Unfortunately, I do have a deadline looming (you can tell by how I'm knuckling down and not talking on the internet). However, I discovered recently that it's not graded.

I'm still gonna end up pulling an all-nighter finishing it on time, but it's a bit of pressure off.

I would have to say that Fifty Shades of Gray (the movie) dropped out of the August 1st,2014 movie spot. Leaving Guardians of the Galaxy up to swallow the competition and make everyone love it.

That and the Lego Movie looks fucking adorable.

Funimation recently bought the rights to Cowboy Bebop as well. I hope to see it come to Netflix in the future, and Blu Ray box sets will be awesome.

Due to following the recommendation of a lovely young lady at the local apothecary,(who recommended taking fish oil) my contact dermatitis has been reduced to about 1/5th of what it formerly was. I feel almost human!

It might sound a smidge silly but I was very happy when I found out that Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim and Sons of Anarcy) dropped out of that movie.

While soccer moms may have made the movie a smash hit (see Magic Mike), I'm of the mind that the movie would end up "Showgirling" and absolutely destroy his promising career.

Oh no I agree with you. I love Charlie Hunnam in Sons & Pacific. I didn't want him to ruin his career in Fifty Shades.

Though I thought the hate he was getting from all sides wasn't fair, though.

My nicest most recent surprise was looking through some paperwork whilst packing for a house move and finding details of money I'd forgotten about. Between some old travellers cheques and a couple of investor/national savings accounts I "found" approximately £2,000.

Ya beauty. Should help in the new home and go towards a new monitor for me and a personal shopper appointment for new clothes for my lady.

I'm feeling rather chipper because it looks like someone's going to make the TV pilot I've been pitching.

I'm not sure if they have any money to make it half-way decent but I'm still a bit excited. Now I have to write a proper script, though!

Oooh, yay!
I have a bit of a problem watching sub so this is good news.
I did hear that after 100 and so episodes it gets a bit repetitive.
Know when any more English eps are out? I'm up to 72 I think.

OT: I usually get the opposite of nice surprises but I have just been to the boyfriends and he surprised me with an early Christmas present of about 200 MtG cards ^.^
I usually get nice surprises off him like candlelit dinners and chocolates under my pillow on a regular basis, which I suppose is better than a kick in the teeth :p

Are you well-trained in checking under your pillow - or did you ever not notice the nice surprise and wake up to the unpleasant surprise of melted chocolate all over the place?

I won an award for outstanding achievement during a NATO exercise... which was nice! :) And very unexpected! Nice for a bunch of international officers to recognise me for something... I thought I was just doing my job!

He told me as I sat down on the bed.
He's not very good at surprises...
I would have noticed anyway, even if he didn't tell me, being a delicate princess and all.
