Meanwhile, back at forensics...

Jase picked up his phone while closing his Pacman game on his PC.

"Y'ellow?" He said drawn out.

After he heard what happened he facepalmed.

"I'll get the standard 3-X files..." He said, sighing.

"We gotta' get to the drop off point my lad. Standard routine, we meet our launderer, dump the money and get outta' dodge."

Marty flexed his shoulders. The bags full of money were quite heavy after all.

"Speak of the devil."

The crew slowly approached Portal who seemed to be toying with his monocle.

"Oi! We got your money you posh git."

Oliphant waited for Ivan to get in the car before he folded himself into the passenger seat.
"Well, you're not cussing a blind storm at us. Even after that whole series of events. What's going on, Chief?"

"Lets wait for that until we get back to the station. Speaking of which, lets start heading back."

Chase turned the car around and headed towards the station.

"Portal!!" Joe had been lagging behind the group, ever since he had flown into that apartment, but he quickly caught up by sprinting as fast as he could.

Joe liked Portal, he found him very nice. Joe decided to show this affection by running up to portal, and hugging him.

Michael scoffed at Joe.

"Gay..." He smirked. Michael preferred more conventional methods.

"Hey man, I'm Mikey." Michael put out his hand for Portal.

Portal was approached by the robbers he was working with. Before he could ask where it was, some twat ran up and hugged him.

"I do say! Get off of me, you knave! Off, curse you, OFF!"

When the closet homosexual got off of him, Portal lightly gripped Mikey's hand and shook gently. After the release, he took out his clean white handkerchief and cleaned his gloved palm. Returning the cloth to the inside of his suit, he turned to Marty.

"So, good bean, where is this money I shall be storing for you?"

Ya, geeve eet tuu me. I wanna spend eet on STOOF.

"Right here."

Marty dumped the large bags onto the floor, slowly followed by everyone else doing the same.

"Think there's about 300's worth in there, dollars o' course."

Portal's monocle popped out at that statement.

"Oh, bugger me....." He replaced the monocle back to its former position and continued talking. "You cannot tell me there is only $300 in here, old chap! It right boggles the mind, it does. There should be a good $50,000 in these at least, eh wot?"

Marty laughed.

"300 grand my friend. We ain't that low on cash that we'd steal a mere 300 dollars, mate."

Portal laughed and grabbed the sacks of money.

"Why, yes, I do suppose that makes proper sense, now doesn't it."

Neatly placing the stacks of money into his suitcase, he closed it and latched it shut and spun the locking mechanism.

"Do you gents need anything else of me, or shall I be off to store the bounty?"

As they arrived at the station, Ivan ran to his desk. He printed out the damage report form and started filling it out. It was such a nice thing, dealing with large numbers...

Oliphant, dreading the workload that awaited him, slowly made his way back to his desk.
Stupid paperwork.
Why couldn't they just do their jobs and be done with it?
None of this crap about hindsight or accountability.
Sometimes, he really wanted to be a vigilante. Too bad that job didn't pay at all.

Walking over to Oliphant Chase threw an even bigger load of papers onto his desk.

"You think thats bad? I have so much paperwork in my office I can't even open the door to get in."
