I was just wondering. I hit it when I was 10, which is really early for boys. I also thought it was weird that now I'm 20 I've been sexually mature for half my life :S

I took a while, in fact I think I must have been like, 12 when it hit me, and it's been slow going since. I'm still not (or at least I hope I'm not) completely physically developed, and at 16, still have one of the most grotesque excuses for a pubescent female body imaginable. What can I say? I'm practically a fetus.
I slowly started at 10(depresssion set in), but it didn't hit full gear until 14-15 (I had-still scarred by- cystic acne..the worst kind you can get) and slowly trailed off at late around the age of 17.

I think the OP means "At which point were you first aware of puberty." People don't actually know when the signal to increase androgen productions starts. The only realize the effects of such a process long after its started. There are some pretty important milestones though, the menarche is a reasonable standard for females. For males it's harder to describe any simple standard that wouldn't require some form of testing and isn't subject to wide variation in degree.Fusoiya said:
