What animal from fiction would you have as your pet?

Pretty simple, what's your favorite pet from fiction? It doesn't matter if its species exists in real life or not, so for example Air Bud would be fine.

Mine would have to be Bubastis from Watchmen.

Hm, I'll go with a DnD style dire wolf. Big fluffy, cuddly. I can probably handle the personality. It's basically a giant husky, just even more stubborn.

Potential problems is that it would eat a lot and would be difficult to fit in the bed. A huge fluffy puppy that could tear an elephant apart, what's not to like. ^^
