What animation shows are worth watching?

Hey I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what animated shows are worth watching?
I was wondering if there is anything similar to the works of Studio Ghibli?
Any recommendations would be awesome.

If you mean Anime, then there's a couple versions of this list.

Right click and open the image in a new tab, or google "wortwhile anime" in pictures. You can read the description easier if you zoom in. I'm currently crossing off stuff from the last one, and have liked most of the stuff I've seen so far. Some animes are on all of them, but they have a few different ones on each I think.

Yeah I'm going to give you a less overwhelming answer than the above. If you like Ghibli (they themselves have been in kind of a rut IMO), here's some must watch movies:

5 CM Per Second (beautifully animated story about long distance relationships and moving on)
Summer Wars (Nerdy kid must save the internet... with math)
The Wolf Children (Single mother struggles to raise two children.... who are werewolves.)
Garden of Words (same director as 5 CM, not as good, but by far the prettiest anime you'll ever see).
