What anime character resembles you the most, and why?

Like the title says, post what anime character resembles you the most, not just in appearance, but in personality as well. And feel free to post a picture of the character.

I'm going with a character that's in my avatar: Ibuki Fuko,

Like Fuko, I can be kind of shy, and kind of hard to carry on a constant conversation with (unless I really try). We're both pretty short, we both feel we are very mature even though we act immature, we are both kind if lonely and unnoticeable, both of us want someone close to us to always be happy, and most important of all, both of us love starfish. Basically, I'm a male clone of her.

I'd say... either my avatar; Vaclav Havel from Trinity Blood. What with his rugged handsomeness and stylish goatee/stubble, his amiable nature and friendly advice. His ability to go invisible also vaguely resembles my ability to walk (sneaking is for sissies) up behind people without them noticing (even if that wasn't my intention).

Alternately, Kuroro Lucifer from Hunter x Hunter. What with his slicked-back hair, deadpan expression and emotionless voice- not to mention his ability to act friendly and happy when he wants to. His ability to steal other people's powers (after fulfilling certain requirements) also happens to be my long-time favorite ability.

I've identified myself with a fair amount of characters, but specifically I would say Duo, Vash and Sakata Gintoki.

All of them are funny and humourous, they are always up against life and they are always positive. There are a lot of undertones and other nuances but I will forego them

For the most part I don't try to see what Anime character I(or anyone else) resemble or why as it generally leads to fights with Fanboys/fangirls when they aren't called the character they have a raging hardon for.

In the beginning, I thought that I don't watch nearly enough anime, or remember enough of it to pick one, but the more I read through your post, I figured that I might as well pick this character. I'm pretty similar, though I'm not really short and I don't love starfish, and I'm not really that lonely and unnoticeable, but everything else is more or less similar.

Eh. Appearance wise, I could probably get away with comparing myself to any anime girl with dark hair. So I'll just say Yuki, from Vampire Knight, since her hair's kind of styled like mine.

I guess my personality's quite similar to Ritsuka Aoyagi's. Trust issues and all that. Fairly mature (well, that's subjective), with strong convictions. I did a cosplay of him once, with stuff I had in my closet. I guess if I cut my hair I'd also look a bit like him. Although to most people I probably seem more like...let's see. Tamaki from OHSHC. Sadly. Overly dramatic and excitable, with sensitive feelings.

I'd say Momiji Sohma. We're both childish, serious occasionally, and speakers of two languages.
But of course he's much cuter than I am.
