Hello,

So E3 is over, everything is over. some new games got announced and some new games missed. here we talk about games that we gamers are hyping.

heres 2 games Im most Hyping currently are

System Shock

Remake or Reboot or whatever they call. its going to be absolutely incredible. when games like Prey which try to be like system shock end up great and better than bioshock. why cant actual system shock which is 10 times more deep and more complex? this is a proper remake, not remastered like other developers do. as System shock 2 is one of the best game ever. System shock 3 is not coming anytime soon. I predict it will be release after 2020. this new System shock remake of original game is what we are getting next year. and I think it going to be as good as system shock 2.

Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus is the Metro game that i have been dreaming since 2010 and since Stalker 2 got cancelled. its non linear, atmospheric, graphics king, Excellent Story and characters. what else we need? all they need to do is polish more gunplay which lack in original games and it will become one of the greatest game of all time. first 2 metro games has weak gunplay but atmosphere is so great that it overshadow its gameplay. now they have time to polish there gunplay mechanics and AI. 4A games are best FPS developers since Valve. and they keep impressing us over and over again.

I think these 2 games are the games that i cant wait to get my hands on and they have chance to become one of the GOAT. very few games of today reach this status but when they reach. they surpass even old games too.

so what games you are hyping currently? discuss

God of War 4. It's probably the only new title that has my interest, and that I am actually anticipating playing.

"Hype" is too strong a word for anything I might be looking forward to, but for the sake of discussion, I'll nominate some that at least have my interest and have been confirmed to actually exist (so no stuff like "Halo 6" or "Diablo IV" for instance:)

-Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (because the Ace Combat fanbase is adorable in regards to how much they love Strangereal as opposed to the real world ;p)

-Darksiders 3 (only played Darksiders 1, but I like the setting, and hopefully I'll get round to Darksiders 3. That, and Fury looks awesome, and taking on the Seven Deadly Sins? Sign me up.)

-Destiny 2 (never played Destiny 1 (maybe someday), but I like the world and overall story, so I remain invested)

-Metroid II: Samus Returns (2D Metroid? Sign me up.)

-Metroid Prime 4 (dislike 3D Metroid games, but I can't help but be interested as to how this actually turns out, especially since Retro isn't developing it)

-Quake Champions (granted, I need a PC that could play it, but it looks...fun. Good mix of hero and arena shooters)

-Sea of Thieves (yes, the E3 'narator trailer' sold me on interest, even though I doubt I'll get it. Basically, I'm just glad to see Rare back in form)

-Sonic Mania (yes, it's tickling my nostalgia bone, but tickling enough that I appreciate it, rather than being tickled too much. But seriously, enough with Green Hill Zone!)

-Sonic Forces (what did I say about Green Hill Zone? Well, the boost gameplay is back (bleh), and I haven't played a Sonic game since Rush Adventure, but I like the look of this, mainly for its darker tone, albeit not Shadow the Hedgehog dark.)

-StarCraft: Remastered (doubt I'll get it, but, well, I can at least appreciate that this game exists)

-Star Fox 2 (as long as it isn't confined to the SNES Classic, because it's already sold out in Oz :()

-Xenoblade 2 (course I need a Switch for it, but hey, Xenoblade. Sign me up.)

Like I said, I'm not really "hyped" for any of these things (Yahtzee's chart explains it best), and there's all manner of obstacles in my way to enjoying them - hardware, time, money... But, well, there's a sample of what's caught my eye.

Pretty much this for me.

I never played Beyond Good and Evil so the sequel doesn't mean shit to me.

Pirate games look like shallow gimmicks more than anything else and I don't think there is enough to either Skull and Bones, or whatever the other one is called. Those games will be fun for a little while with friends, but be nothing but boring slogs solo.

I don't trust Bioware to make Anthem good.

I dunno this E3 really kind of sucked. I was hoping to see something more than the latest sequel shillings, but didn't really get anything i cared about.

Oh.....Mario + Rabids is probably going to be the best game from this year's show easily.

Metroid 2: Samus Returns
Metroid Prime 4
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Wolfenstein 2

Although in my case 'hype' is more 'sort of interesting in seeing how they turn out'.

I played some Breath of the Wild thanks to a friend, and I'm looking forward to the time when I can play it without a Switch, even if it means having to buy the game for a clean conscience and then emulate it. Unless Nintendo improves on the self-scratching Switch hardware, that's likely the only way I'll end up getting it.

Dragonball FighterZ is just insane. Literally a dream game I've been hoping gets made for the better part of a decade now, ever since I stopped playing those casual oriented dbz simulation games and got more into competitive fighting games. Finally, a properly balanced competitive fighting game by the makers of blazblue and guilty gear. It's as good as it gets.

Can confirm, strangereal being back is half the reason I'm excited for it (the other being that its the old AC5 dev team).

Otherwise, there's not much I'm really hyped for. Most of the genra I like are either practically dead (console JRPG), niche and have nothing announced yet (still waiting on armored core 6 news, hope its not like 5) or everything for them just came out (4x just had civ 6 with stellaris and endless space 2, so nothing interesting on the horizon).

I guess I'm somewhat hyped about the mech warrior game by the guy who did the shadowrun reboot. Destiny 2 could be fun, never played 1 cause I don't pay for console online, but it seems like my kind of game.

Skyrim VR. I just bought a PSVR last week. So far i thibk it is amazing. Not perfect but seriously what is?

Destiny 2. Loved the first one, definitely picking this one ip day 1.

Metroid prime 4. Maybe Hype isn't the right word. More curious than hype. I might actually pick up a switch if this looks anything close the original trilogy.

Hype leads to expectations, expectations leads to disappointment, disappointment leads to anger, anger leads to desperation, desperation leads to hope, hope leads to hype.

Now fork over $100 for the premium edition, and get read for DLC.

#1: Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown: As explained by @Meiam up there: 1) We're going back to Strangereal, which is awesome; 2) it's the old dev teams from the PS2-era of the franchise, reassembled for this game. If it doesn't turn out to be a masterpiece, I'm going to be really sad.

#2: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus: I really enjoyed New Order, though I've yet to play Old Blood. But I'm expecting this one to turn out pretty damn good.

Port of portable game, not really interested. I find most portable JRPG to be shovel ware with lackluster gameplay that put all there egg into writing which is usually hit or miss for me. I found DQ9 to be far inferior to 8 for example.

Fortnite and Destiny 2. Be nice to have something to get on with regular gaming buddies. Been a bit of a dry spell in the co-op MP world.

New Wolfenstein looks cool, but not really racing out to pre-order it or anything. New Order and Old Blood had their downpoints for sure, and its very easy to gloss over some bad levels in trailers.

Shadow of War? I mean the first game was fun, but it kind of peters off quickly unless you specially avoid using elf powers. The sotry was also kind of meh, and it did that annoying thing where it spends 80% of the game tutorializing your powers.

Red dead redibbletiton 2. Pyre. S'bout it probably. The only ones I'm confident in their quality development teams and overall style that leads to enjoyable experiences.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the only thing left this year that I am excited about, hopefully it will be as good as the first game. Oh, I forgot about Uncharted: The Lost Legacy coming out soon.

I was excited for Valkyria Revolution until I saw the reviews for it.

But this is good, it gives me chance to get through my backlog.

Games to come somewhere down the line, Days Gone looks interesting, Red Dead 2. Death Stranding has my attention for being weird. Beyond Good and Evil 2 if it ever comes out. I think that's about it.
