So as i've been potentially structuring a review type thing in which i discuss books i have read, i had the idea to ask this forum..What books if any are you fine people reading?

List title, author and genre and maybe i'll look them and give them a read if they interest me.

To answer the topic question i am currently reading book number 2, (as i've already finished number 1) in Brent Weeks' Night Angel Trilogy and am enjoying it thoroughly.

I lost my aptitude at casual reading for some reason, I used to be able to finish a book in a matter of days, now I just read a chapter and toss it aside. But for what it's worth, I am reading Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy (Military/Action/Spy Novel), hoping I will finish this book and move on to a bunch of Hudlum's books I have stashed away.

I am also reading ASOAIF, Dance with the Dragons, but I'm really only reading Tyrion's chapters, I did get bored out of reading the 4th book in the series, but since the two books are actually events that take place during the same timeline, I guess it doesn't hurt to finish DwD first, then read the 4th book.

Haven't had time to read a lot of books, which I must say sucks.

Let me look around here: I purchased Stephen King's Under the Dome about a year ago. As for genre, I'm not too sure actually. It most likely falls under horror, I mean it is written by Stephen King, but this book is kinda all over the place.

Now personally I don't think Stephen King is really good at creating characters, but I must say he creates great pawns for some intricate games.

Playboy of the Western World, The Awakening, a very thick book of Edgar Allan Poe short stories, the untilled field and oodles of Yeats' poetry. Crikey this English course is certainly intensive, enjoyable though.

The German Army on Vimy Ridge 1914-1917

Jack Sheldon

I bought this on Vimy Ridge itself and this is my second read through it. It is packed full of journal entries and official reports of company actions. I love it.

Realizing that I hadn't recreationally read a book in something like two years (I'd only read books that were required for school), I dropped by my school library yesterday to pick something new up. I walked out with Ender's Game by Olson Scott Card.

I'm only about 20 pages in thus far, but I'm enjoying it.

ive been reading through the Kozure Okami manga series by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima. Its a stunningly beautiful work by two fantastic mangaka. A sweeping series of revenge, backdropped by Japan's Edo Period. Extremely detailed and accurate in its portrayl of Japan.

Presently, Woman in the Dunes, a Kafkaesque tale courtesy of Kobo Abe. Was also reading Good Omens, but my interest has tapered off somewhat. Would like to start Richard III in the near future. Also, very much looking forward to Haruki Murakami's latest novel, 1Q84, slated for release at the end of this month.

At the moment I am plodding my way through the 4th book in the Felix Castor series by Mike Carey, Thicker Than Water, I wouldn't recommend it though it just seems really really slow.

Hitler and Nazism - Louis L Snyder. Although unbelievably horrific, it's impressive what Hitler did.

I may have to check that out, though Hitler was an abobinable fucktard, people seem to forget that he took what was IIRC the brokest nation in history and in a few years turned it into a world superpower

At the moment, nothing. I just finished book four of 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and waiting for book five to be released on paperback. Also waiting for the paperback version of the latest(s) 'Wheel of Time' books.

Well, in non-fiction just finished 'Civilization: The West and the Rest' by Niall Ferguson (good book, I recommend it) and have moved onto Mary Douglas' 'Purity and Danger' (also good book, and also recommended).

As for fiction, I'm in the first pages of a few different things, but there's nothing I'm really reading at the moment. Last one I finished was 'EX-Heroes' by Peter Clines. Zombies vs Superheroes. At the book-shop, the title grabbed me and I read a few pages. Liked it enough to buy it and I'd say it's worth checking out. I'm planning on getting the sequel.

Men At Arms for the umpteenth time. I read too much. I've read most good books probably about 10+ times.
