What are your skills?

So having learnt that the Robotics club I am currently part of is teaching soldering tomorrow I realized that this seminar will complete my knowledge of metal joining skills. I learned high heat soldering and basic cold connections (rivets, folds, hammering, ect) in a Jewelry course over the summer at a local community college and am learning the ins and outs of multiple forms of welding in my current studies as well as more heavy duty cold connections.

Added to the programing and electrical engineering I am learning in Robotics, the multitude of skills I have learned in computer aided design, and familiarity with 3D printers I have the skills required to fabricate almost anything I want.

Anyways this got me thinking, what other skills are out there and who possesses them?

If it wasn't apparently obvious this isn't one of those "what RPG skills do you have" threads. I am actually wondering what are your abilities and skills.

And no this is not in any way shape or form a diabolical search for those with the skills to pilot the many many giant robots that I will no doubt create.

I can fly small aircraft. (specifically Cessnas)
I'm a fairly good shot with rifles and pistols.

Thats basically the only things of note.

I can play violin
I can tolerate very cold temperatures (shorts and t-shirt even when its below freezing)
I'm a good swimmer

In Simulators I can land a 777 manually, even though I TOTALLY know which buttons to hit to activate the autopilot and make it land itself.

Real Life applicable: I am an amazing driver. I can do things with a car that my friends couldn't believe until they saw me do it with their own eyes.

I am apparently amazing in bed. Every woman I have been with before my fiancee has come back to cheat on their boyfriend with me, even as long as a year after we broke up. (Yeah, I didn't know they were doing that, except in the case of my ***** ex girlfriend who was stalking me, and I just wanted her to feel like a shit person, which she is... Marginally more so than me.)

I am the Grill God of Pork Chops. My fiancee who hates porkchops loves mine. My family thinks they are actually better than my Grandfather's, and he was the one who taught me how to do it.

I can see puzzles, like give me a true maze and I can solve it in record time. I also have a insane attention to detail. At my last job people would fuck with me by misplacing something and creating a pool to see how long I would notice and fix it. Kind of OCD towards Order and Time. Chaos throws me into a rage, mostly when I am driving.

Oh hey, I did study robotics too for a while until I realized I absolutely loathed one half of the courses and felt totally unchallenged by the other.

I can drive a car so smooth even my mother who with anyone else gets sick every time and my ex who is terrified of driving enjoy being in a car with me. And I was told I can explain things very well.

I am good at seeing things from different angles... and do so naturally! I will very often add different ideas into work discussions because of this... which adds to our output!

I am also good at adding a positive vibe into situations... I am nearly always a positive person in public, and it takes a lot to get me down... so I can usually pick up a groups morale just be being me without trying! I can always see the good side in things... even if it is not immediately availiable (see para 1)

I'm a fairly skilled musician. I play guitar, bass guitar and drums. I can sing in a variety of ways including death metal growls. I compose music in several genres and play in two bands.

Besides that, I can do a few card tricks and I've got theoretical knowledge on how to drive a tank. I would really like to follow a course for welding some day and put it on my resume, just to confuse future employers (I'm a social worker).

These don't really count, but I'm an expert at listening to people and pretending I give a fuck, tolerating all kinds of people, seeing things from different perspectives, maintaining a positive outlook, and adapting to all kinds of situations by simply not giving a damn. I'm a walking, talking meh.
I used to have a good memory too, before video games and alcohol ruined it

Hmm...I don't really have any particular skills. Guess the best way to describe it is "Jack Of all trades, master of none". I can learn to do things pretty quickly but ultimately, I'm not going to be "good" at anything.

I can look after animals, I guess.

- I've been called an efficient mediator.
- I'm a published review writer.
- I'm a fairly good cook.
- I excel at planning and organization (possibly driven by what some suspect may be a very mild case of OCD) and pay close attention to detail.
- Thanks to my uni studies I have both broad and narrow skills (and knowledge) in English and Geography (and several auxiliary subjects such as didactics, pedagogy, psychology and sociology), both of which I can competently and confidently teach in a classroom setting.
- I'm good at telling stories, a trait which regularly comes in handy when I'm the GM in our pen&paper roleplaying sessions.
- I'm a decent swimmer.
- I can speed-chug beer like crazy.
