I'm a senior in high school in the middle of Test Hell, and since this website is frequented by fairly young people (as far as I can tell), I was curious what people's plans are for college or where they are currently.

I'm going to Dartmouth, but I was really tempted by MIT.

I'm currently finishing up my pre-business core at Truckee Meadows Community College, starting my junior year at the University of Nevada, Reno in three months' time.

For grad school, I'm moving home to Boston to get my MBA and sit the CPA exam after I get done my field work.

I attend Oregon State University (Go Beavers!), it is awesome here. One of the few places in the world where wearing bright orange makes you blend in.

I feel like this thread was created just to brag that you are going to the Ivy League or maybe MIT... but I'll bite anyway. I did my undergrad in psychology at Kansas State University and I am currently working on a masters in school counseling at The George Washington University in DC.

MIT apparently is not that hard to get in to(from High School) so long as you are passionate about what you are going to be studying.
Bullshit! MIT, the one in Boston, is incredibly difficult to get into.

I aim for Rice, Stanford, or University of Texas at Austin.

Whether I'll get accepted is another matter.

Harvard, the School of Medicine in particular. It's not quite as difficult as I'd initially expected.
How so?

Well, I aim for Trinity college, but that's about as likely to happen as me actually doing something worthwhile with my life, as that place is fucking difficult to get into.

If I pass the exams at all, most probably Maynooth or UCD. Pretty much everything I've put down has been history.

I'm Irish by the way, so most probably won't know what these places are.
the Trinity, here in the US?
