This one is for the ladies. I'am asking because I see a lot of new wedding dress's and they come in all colours now. So what was yours or what would it be?

Oh and for the men: Would you make your wife wear a certin colour?

I would not, I would let her wear any colour dress she wants....and if I where a lady and was getting maried I would have a black dress. Just saying.

Well even though I'm a man, I would want my wedding dress to be either cream or yellow. =D

OT: I would really be trying to compliment what my lady would want!

[small]I may be whipped in some ways but not completely...[/small]

When it comes down to my wife I'd be happier for her to make her own choice. But if I were forced to choose I'd probably just go with a nice, traditional white.

I think I'd want a white one.
I can't say it's for any other reason than they look pretty though.
I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon though, not for at least 10/15 years.

As a man, I don't like weddings, as they are formal and have lots of people, religious overtones, and terrible music. So ideally, the marriage would be a small ceremony with no god damn dress.

I wouldn't MAKE my wife do anything.

I'd ask for classic white, though. Or purple.

As a guy I might wear a pinstripe wedding dress? If the woman can trick me into getting married then she can choose her own dress.

Snap. It's gotta be a traditional white (for a first wedding)

If it's any colour other than white then as a guy you have to contrast it. Bloody hard to do if it's purple/blue/red/green/grey/pink/rainbow/whatever the hell colour she wants.

Besides as a guy you also dont want to look like a tool in a Tuxedo any other colour than the traditional 'Bond' Black.

isn't saying it's only for the ladies because it involved a dress sexist and not inclusive of cross-dressers? not that i mind, i'm just tired and in one of them moods. it'll soon pass. any way, my dress my wifes dress can be any colour she wants...within reason. don't want her looking like the Care Bears threw up on the Telletubbies

I wont make my wife wear a certain color, wouldn't really be necessary seeing as I probably wouldn't marry anyone who would hell bent on wearing black or something. I would prefer white or something close though.

My wife wore a white dress with a blue trim around the bottom (of the dress, not her bottom). It was gorgeous!

For the wedding she did whatever whe wanted including picking my outfit and everything. I just did what she wanted me to and smiled a lot because she got the wedding she'd fantasized about ever since she was a little girl. She let me pick more options for the honeymoon since I relinquished all control of the ceremony to her. We even did some weird hippy sand ceremony with some vows she wrote herself (I was in favor of the traditional vow but it really doesn't matter).

Blokes, when your day comes I recomend doing it the same way because you will be much happier in the long run. Wedding = for the bride (and her parents), Honeymoon = for the groom (and maybe the bride to but definitely not her parents).
