What comic heroes or villians deserve games?

Exactly what the title says. Why the hero or villian you choose? Also what developer would you trust to make this game? Why would you trust them not to dash your hopes and dreams of seeing a decent game feauring your favorite hero or villian. Deadpool. Why? Hes Deadpool. Then again I shouldn't say that after that abomination that was Barakapool. It would probly be a game where you murder tons of dudes while breaking the 4th wall but thats pretty much what it should be. I would have to give it to Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions. Tim Schafer's writing has actually managed to make me laugh and I think he would do some interesting things using Deadpool.

Deadpool's awesome. I'd say Dr. Manhattan should have a game for being so badass, but since he can almost literally do anything he wants to it wouldn't be much of a game.

I think there's some promise in a Sandman game. Being able to reshape your body into things constructively in order to solve puzzles would be pretty cool.

I also support the Deadpool game. Just look at him, he spends every comic cracking jokes, dual wielding, and using crazy weapons in insane new ways. Katanas, assault rifles, pistols, machine guns, knives, grenades, flamethrowers, and fucking chain saws! How does this not beg for a video game!?

Goddamn this. That Arkham Asylum "Play as the Joker" ad campaign was bullshit.
Although, I wouldn't mind seeing something Scarecrow even though it sounds like it wouldn't be much fun.

The only comic I've ever seriously enjoyed was The Sandman by Neil Gaiman... which would make for one weird as hell game. But for the fun of it and despite Sandman not being a beat-em-up super-hero comic, let me think how it could work as a game...

I'm seeing a point & click ye-olden style adventure game where you play as, hmm, Hob maybe? Can't play as any of the Endless because, well, they're endless. Well Destruction might work, he's a bit of a strange sort, but Hob still seems like a better fit for a game protagonist what with not being an all-powerful personification of an abstract concept, plus Hob's a cool guy. Could work!

Never happen though.

Venom kinda has his own game, it's shared with Spidey but if you beat it he's all yours. He is very fun to play as. See Ultimate Spiderman.

Ot: I really think the Riddler desearves(wow I am really at a lose as to how to spell this atm) his own game.

I always thought that Ozymandias had more potential than any Watchman besides Rorschach, and it's still a crying shame that The End Is Nigh wasn't released on hard copy. But yeah, Ozymandias. He's like a ninja in silver, muscle-highlighting armor. And you gotta love his conviction that the world needs to be saved without prior knowledge or consent. He almost bilks the archetypal mayor out of the archetypal town key.
