Ok, simple enough question. What was the most recent thing you made for dinner? I ask because I kind of feel like bragging about mine.

Since it was the boyfriend's birthday, I made him chicken cutlets, mac n' cheese, baked potatoes, and potato dumplings.

(The dumplings aren't pictured since I never made them before, so I started them before I did the rest, thus they ended up an appetizer. Although I screwed up a bit, they turned out mostly fine.)

It was super delicious, and we both got very full. I just hope the roomies don't scarf down the leftovers.

So, what about you?

PF Chang's orange chicken. Kind of a mistake, because I'm not really an orange guy. It wasn't bad, but I should've gone with General Chong's. Ah well.

I'm currently eating a double layer cheese cheese burrito. Yeah, my girlfriend is out of town and I don't feel like making a big elaborate meal for just myself. Last actual dinner I made was stroganoff with deer meat in a crock pot. Let it cook for five hours on low; the meat was so tender it was amazing.

Erm...
I just finished some Hungry Jacks.

I don't cook much. I think the last thing I actually cooked for tea was probably 2 bouls of 2 minute noodles 'cause I'm a lazy bastard and don't really know how to cook much else.

My dinners are mostly uninspired.

I had a ham sandwich with toasted bread last night. Doesn't sound like much but cold ham, melted butter, warm bread? Perfect end to the day.

Tonight it's going to be Chinese with my dad. Which is nice.

Chilli, with those cool doritos... hmmm... didn't bother with rice or anything fancy, just a pile of doritos and a load of chilli on top. Ben & Jerry's pecan icecream for dessert.

A 12 oz T-bone steak with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies washed down with a couple of spiced and cokes. Best suppers ever

Russian-style potato salad and pepper steak.

Sadly, nay, criminally, I forgot to buy red onion for the salad. It's just not quite the same without it.

Rare-cooked, Pepper Wine Flambéed Steak on rocket and sautéed courgettes with a base of sweet potato and shallot mash.

No that's not a restaurant recipe, that's a Benni original! Recently moved into a house with workmates and I've yet to become bored with cooking every night. Chicken escalopes tonight! :D
