What do players think of Bionic Comnmando(2009)?

Personally, I think this is one of the most underrated and overlooked games out of my all time favorites. Only yesterday I decided to put the disk into my 360, in hope of finding three other players to fight whilst swinging around amazingly I managed to find a game and I was reminded of how unique and fun this shooter is!! Jumping off of skyscrapers, hunting other commandos traveling equally fast around the city... I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to pick up something new for less than a tenner, as the single player is more of the same awesome high-altitude gameplay.

But I know most reviews I've read haven't spoken well of the game. I'd like to know from people who've bought and played through the game, what they really think of this controversial title.

...did you play the original? Or rearmed? The sequel is nothing like the original, makes little sense, and really does not use the swinging mechanic as well as it should have. It was also pretty boring, with about 0 challenge even on hard. To me it felt all spectacle and no substance. From what I remember even the devs didn't really like how it turned out.

It just wasn't as much fun as I had with rearmed, or the original...it just felt wrong.
