When you're feeling down for no reason/reasons that you can't really do anything about, what do you do?

Personally, I feel one of "those" nights coming on. Y'know, one of those nights when you keep thinking too much, can't sleep, and inevitably get bored and start looking at creepypastas, then, just when you're too paranoid to sleep, you start getting tired.

Okay, maybe not that specific (although I'm sure I'm not the only one to make that massive error), but you get the gist.

When I feel like this, I usually eat more than I should (I have muffins on standby) play some games, watch one of my favourite TV programs while consuming enough tea to make myself the MOST SPIFFING-LY BRITISH MAN WHO EVER LIVED, and then proceed to do the aforementioned creepypasta routine. Seriously, I never fucking learn.

I throat punch some babies, followed by ingesting copious amounts of glass.

Best thing to do is leave me alone, it'll blow over.

I watch videos of kittens being cute.

I can't stay annoyed/upset while looking at kittens being cute.

Put on a Disney movie and cuddle with my plushies.

Doesn't really help that the DVD player on my laptop is currently refusing to load half the time, though.

If I'm in a bad mood I generally want to be left alone since other interactions with me will result in me being more in a shitty mood, and I might hurt someone.

I might go jogging to try to get rid of it, and then maybe play a very cathartic game like God of War.

Amen to that brother!

I watch a really bad film or TV Show to make me smile like an idiot and forget the bad mood.
I used to walk the dog but I can't anymore...

Yeah.. watching The Beatles's film Help due to its unintentional racial undertones, bullying of Ringo and decent music.

Sleep. Just go to sleep for a while. A lot of times I'm in a bad mood because I'm tired, plus it sort of wipes the slate of minor annoyances clean.

Play video games, watch TV & Movies or watch stand-up comedians.

Sometimes I will watch terrible movies. Though no mood is bad enough to make me watch SK3.

But if nothing works then play with my dog.

This sort of moment in time does not exist for me. There is never 'no reason', nor is there a case where something cannot be done with something pissing me off. "It can't be helped" is the laziest and most pathetic response to a crisis that can exist. It CAN be helped, if you're willing to try.

Sorry, I got a bit side-tracked there. I think what I'm trying to say is that I don't know how to answer this question.

I go for a walk, it helps me sort my thoughts out, other than that not much, though it's not really a good idea to try to talk to me when I'm in a bad mood, and most definitely do not touch me, once someone tried to hug me and I pushed her away and smashed her against a wall, and one time I just elbowed a guy in the stomach for telling me what to do, so really I should have a giant KEEP AWAY sign for those kinds of days.

Well, most of the time there's something that can be done, but sometimes it can't be done right now. That's the position I find myself in.

Stop being in a bad mood and be awesome instead... okay not the direct quote but yeah.

Most want to be alone but if I'm REALLY upset I actually want to surround myself with people or get on skype with a friend to play some games because I'll control myself and think about our conversations instead of brooding over whatever it is I'm upset about. I never lash out at people for being upset about something/

Just let me sort it out, I'm usually fine after a little bit once the issue has been resolved.

In my case, some measure of relief still comes if there is a plan for the thing that I'm mad about, even if action is not immediate. The point is that there is something, and so the above don't happen for me because...the situation is in good hands: MINE.

Listen to some metal or other music genres, where singing is replaced by screaming. Oddly relaxing.

Making tea sometimes helps too.

I go for a drive. I've noticed that it's pretty much impossible for me to be in a bad mood when accelerating quickly and being pinned to the back of my seat, all while hearing that glorious V-8 sound.
