What do you do when you're sick?

I'm soooooo sick right now. Normally, when I'm sick, I just go through my Steam library until I get tired, then take a nap and repeat as needed. But right now I'm so sick I just can't play video games, any suggestions?

For discussion's sake, what do you do when you're sick?

A hot bath, then sleep. I'll wake up feeling better.

I drink the necessary amount of cough syrup or whatever to function, carry around a hanky, stay within five steps of a bathroom if it's terrible, nap and or read a ton, sit on the couch with a blanky and hot tea and just watch movies, but hte last thing I will do while sick is ***** about being sick.

Continue on with my day despite being in massive amounts of pain and uncomfortableness.

Movies and sleep is about all I want to do.

Sleep and hot drinks work for me. I'd suggest tea or lemonade.

Continue working*. This also applies when dealing with pneumonia, broken bones and so forth.

Someone has to do it, and no one else can be bothered.

* cooking, cleaning, dishes, carrying stuff around, feeding the cats, actual work and studying, etc.

Hmm... I guess we'll find out. So far it's get distracted looking at new Pokemon, half-finish an Escapist quiz and then forget about it to go on Facebook, realize I have no friends on Facebook, make juice and... pet the cat.

I usually sleep, play video games, or watch TV. I also find that I feel a lot better after taking a hot shower.

Vomit, and go about my day (with that chappy feeling on my teeth).

If it's a cold, I just suck it down. If I don't work, there is NO MONEY.

Nothing. Sit around. Watch Netflix. Maybe take a shower/nap. Repeat.

If I have nothing to do? I distract myself from the sickness by wearing sexy underwear. I'd show just a little bit of leg to reveal what I'm wearing, while looking my bf straight in the eye with my bloodshot eyes and purr, "would you still hit it?"

In spite of my cold, which he could very well catch, he throws caution to the wind and declares, "Gotta catch 'em all!"

At which point he sings me to sleep by singing video game music. And then he tucks me in and says goodnight.

Best way to get over a cold ever...is rest.

I go about my day. My immune system's pretty strong, so I haven't had a disease that's kept me in bed yet. I'll eat some chicken soup instead of other meals, but otherwise my day's pretty much the same.

I man the hell up and go to work.

What you can do to get better? Sinus: steam the hell out of your sinus cavity. Boil some water and get your face right up in there.

Stomach? Manning up is the only solution I know.

It depends. If I can walk and think without too much pain, I'll go about my day.
If I must stay home, I generally game, browse the net, then sleep. This is a video game site, what did you think I'd do, take up knitting?

If it's sinuses, I clear them with steam (like accursedtheory).
If it's my stomach, I carry a bucket with me.

Not much else to it.
