What do you love most about your console? Xbox360/PS3

Hi guys, I'm doing research for a gaming article I need to write for my IT coursework, so I'd really like to hear your opinions.

Basically in a nutshell, tell me what it is you love most about your PS3 or Xbox 360. And don't be afraid to reply if you love both!

I'm looking for things relating to perhaps prices, services, exclusivity, capabilities, anything you can think of.
Please no bashing one console or the other though, I just want positive things about your favourite, right? I'm deliberately not making this a poll because I simply want the details on why you love your favourite so much.

[EDIT] My article is on Xbox 360 vs. Ps3, which is why other consoles aren't included. I'm not saying that these consoles are better than any others, thats just the article title I'm working with.

Erm, with the availability of high-speed internet, the Xbox 360 acts as a platform where I can enjoy my videogame collection while simultaneously being fed news, trailers, demoes and additional content that I can buy quickly and easily.

As for me: I love my 360 for the lineup of games and excellent Xbox LIVE service, even if I do have to pay. Also, DLC comes fast and ports from other platforms usually run well.

I love my DS for it's portability, long battery life, and incredibly varied game library.

I love the PS3 for the internet browser and PSP connectivity. And the free online. And the better weekly sales, compared to 360s shit weekly sales.

I love my 360 for...cross game chat. Which is a MASSIVE point in it's favor. MASSIVE.

I like the way the controller feels in my hands.
I like the way I can play games online while dealing with racism (seriously, my teabags are swift and vengeful).
I'm a fan of both the PS3 and Xbox360 UI in the opening, both are sleek and sexy in their own way.
I only own an Xbox 360, and the fact that it allowed me to stomp zombies with lawnmowers first just means I can't quite look at PS3 the same way.

Well, I don't play online very often but I do still like to go online every once in a while. It's nice to know that with the PS3 I always have an online network, but since I don't have to pay for it I don't feel obligated to use it all the time to get the most out of my money.

I also really love the controller. It's simple, but it has enough buttons to do the job. And it's wireless but is easily rechargable. And you can even play it wired if you want.

(Though if I had to say what I hate most about my PS3 it's the fact that it's not backwards-compatible. I'd seriously pay $100 for a peripheral or software update that allowed me to play my PS2 games on it, but Sony's being a douche about it.)

I enjoy playing my 360 the most because the achievement system gives me motivation to play more games (let's face it, I'm not the same gamer I was when I was 13), and the xbox dashboard is well done and easy to browse.

Well I have both, but I love my PS3 way more!

You get FREE online (which you can't use right now), you get to watch Blu-Ray on it, you get to browse the Internet on it, and I just love almost all of the video games for it so far. Except for the Resistance series...

PS3 here.(All in my opinion) It has a generaly better community, its free and better exclusives. I dont use it for anything other than gaming however.

I own both a PS3 and Xbox360 btw.

I don't have to pay for online on my PS3, not that I really use it but I like that the option is there. Really...I guess Netflix as non-game-related as that is. I play few console games really.
