Rooster Teeth, producers of Red vs. Blue, have announced their new series. It's Red vs. Blue in anime form.

If you haven't seen it, it can be found here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-500142/red-vs-blue-animated-short/

What's your opinion of this new prospective of the series. I, personally, think it's great, because they're not limited to the HALO engine.

...actually, that looks pretty good. Certainly a lot better than what I thought by looking at the title.

They still got the conversational humor down, too.

AWSOME, that?s all there is to say, but makes me think of Heavy Metal
You make it sound like that's a bad thing...
Its not a bad thing but I just got the feeling to listen to Heavy metal by Sammy Hagard

I like it better animated, it seems to have more depth that way.
The vid was hillarious, I laughed the entire time.

Pretty good, but part of the appeal of RVB has always been that it was machinima. Still, not bad.

Also, covies? I understand that trying to find some kind of canon in RVB is besides the point, but Reconstruction made it seem like the events of RVB happened after the human-covenant war.

Like I said, for all intents and purposes, there is no canon, nor should there be. Still, it seemed like Reconstruction was trying to be more serious (although still filled with jokes), and you'd think they'd stick to that, at least as far as story.

Just want to reiterate: I know this is besides the point, just idle chatter.

That was great. I laughed my ass off. But its lacking some much needed Caboose.
Yeah, I miss Caboose.
I don't think this will be same if it doesn't have Caboose. I would be very sad to say the least if they left him out.

They left out Doughnut and Tucker in the Reconstruction. (Mostly.)

Yeah, but Caboose was pretty much everyone's favorite, no way are they leaving him out.
