I am just enquiring what different people want to see from Bioshock 2 and 3. Personally I would like a wider variety of guns (perhaps something a bit unusual) and more plasmids. But I am hoping that in its effort to improve it doesn't get rid of the beautifully crafted world and the creation of another masterful storyline, because if they do, it will make just like the other bog standard FPSs on the market.

a completely different setting, and different characters.

we're done with rapture, lets look at something else. there's no point in clinging to the same theme over and over, even if it did work.

To be honest... I don't want a Bioshock sequel. The game was complete as one, and I feel that any further instalments would milk the success of the original and ultimately cheapen the brand, and hence the original.

And now you understand why Bioshock was so appealing and unusual because it did things with morality and mental practices that were never really seen in a video game

A nice prequel game would be cool. Have the player play through the downfall of Rapture and have you be the one that escapes with the main character from the first one.

I kind of agree, although if they can make a sequel without doing so then I will be happy.

My thoughts exactly. Bioshock had a proper resolution. No need to expand on it.

maybe they can pull off a sequel, i have a feeling they planned it and
the ending of the good part of the game was a bit like the ending of diablo
i have some confidence in their abilities. but really, i want a half decent ending to the first one. im sure were all familiar with the infamous last boss. and while the good ending was nice, it didnt feel relevant. the bad ending was slightly less nice, but just as connected to the main plot.

A games that can live-up to the original game's badassness. 2K said they would be releasing them as often as new GTA games come out. Doesn't sound possible to do both........
