HOLY CRAP, I just got done playing Blacksite: Area 51 (yeah, I know it's a bit late) and I swear to God, I regret the whole experience. That's six bucks and a few hours of my life I'm never gonna get back, damnit.

Right now, Mass Effect on PC through Steam. I might give it another go but for the time being, wasn't impressed/drawn in. Glad it was only like $15.

Splinter Cell Conviction.

Wasn't the worst by any means, but it was the most expensive meh game I've bought.

People will probably kill me for this, but Halo 3, don't get me wrong, I love XBOX360, I play Gears 2 often, but I never really got into Halo

Bioshock. I bought it when it was still expensive, but didn't play it because I had Fallout 3. When I got around to playing it, it was a lot cheaper, but I disliked it so it was a total waste of money.

When the original xbox was my primary console, I was young and foolish and never read reviews. I bought quite a few monumentally shitty games, but one that stands out was called Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green. I was in the mood for a zombie game, and I saw it at the store. I asked the person at the counter if it was good, and she said yes (me not understanding at the time that they pretty much have to say every game is good). I bought it, and it was a piece of shit. Downright broken. And the disk was scratched. God.

Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii...

I really like the Arcade Versions, mostly because of the Japanese Eurobeat Music.
Is that Music also in the Console version? - no, it's Pop music -_-'

Not many in recent memory, downloading before buying has saved me a lot of money.

FFX has to be the only one that i remember.

The 360 port of the Orange Box.
The games were horrifically average, and TF2 had none of the updates.

Wow. I think it might have come close to 250 bucks. Way too much money to spend on a RPG.
it was which game, not how much you spent.

I think it would have to be... civilization revolution. thank goodness I still have civ 3 to restore my confidence in the series.

Two Worlds, Nier, Divinity 2, a slew of others.
Aww I loved Nier...

OT -
MAG - So much potential, but the gameplay was just so bland.
Mad World - too gory for me, stupid impulse purchase.
Bioshock 2 - too much like Bioshock 1, only played that game for half an hour before getting bored and never touching it again.
Arkham Asylum - Game was really fun, but maybe I just don't care enough about Batman, so I never beat it after playing a for a few hours.
MW2 - Because I'm dumb as well.

Modern Warfare 2. I bought into the hype FAR too much, and the whole experience was a mediocre at best.

They destroyed their multiplayer, but at least the single player was somewhat decent.

Used copy of Gears of War. Big fat load of meh. Although it has gotten slightly more play time than the new-from-the-store UFC 2009, but that was bought with a gift-card and I enjoyed the demo a lot, so I don't feel quite so bad about that bad decision.
