so its simple, what game makes you rage the most?

for me it would have to be "Super Meat Boy", mainly because i suck at it, i love the game because its really well made and funny, but yeah i suck at it which makes me get really mad at it, but then when i complete the bit im raging at, i get a really satisfied feeling so i suppose it all works out.

Carnival Games, the pinnacle of crappy shovelware.

Most fighting games, Street Fighter 4 included. They ask you to accomplish these ridiculously precise combos, taking about 48 tries to finally get it right, and that's supposed to be accomplished MID-COMBAT...and ONLY when you have the right opening.

I also agree with the OP about Super Meat Boy. The creators were filled to the brim with nostalgia for old games and "hard = rewarding". Nostalgia is something only CERTAIN people have (as old as I am, my very first console was a Nintendo 64) and hard just frustrates me to an extent.

I did somehow reach the level of throat-ripping fury during A Drug That Makes You Dream and Symphonic Rain, at characters who were the very definition of heinous and vile, but I suspect that's not what you're looking for.

I've had it on Virtual Console since the week it came out... I never thought it would be THAT hard.

THOSE GOD DAMN DEVILS... THERES NO PATTERN. THEY JUST GO ALL OVER THE SCREEN, AND YOU HAVE TO PRAY THEY DON'T HIT YOU.

And in one of the levels, you have to get through... Six of them I think...

I was fine and calm until I reached a part where you end up underground fighting these bugs that closely resemble Tickers from Gears 2, and I proceeded to lose my patience and my mind. They swarm around you and explode, taking a significant chunk of your health each time. Putting it on easy didn't help much either, it just meant I'd get that little bit further into the level before I die again. Or maybe I just suck at that game. Either way, it annoyed the fuck outta me.

It's the first and only time a game pissed me off due to the fact I couldn't get past a section of a level.

That part got the first two or 3 times. But once I used the slow down bubble thing I was fine.

OT: Medal of Honor single player and online. When ever I play Tier 1 mode ( Beat mission fast as possible no dieing, on hard) I would like to know if I'm about to die. But sadly the game doesn't let you know your dieing until your well, already dead. Also the multiplayer because of the same thing, and also the one hit kill snipers. And the fact that f you dont have a HD-Tv your screwed since you cant see any person. Bad company 2 was fine with seeing, so why isnt MoH same engine. But for some reason I slightly enjoy the game still.....single player at least.

Multiplayer Battlefield Bad Company 2. Specifically when you are sniping from the cliff overlooking the island on the map Isla innocentes and someone sneaks up the cliff and proceeds to knife you to death. I also absolutely hate the fact that you can't hear the gun being shot at you, you can only hear bullets ripping into your body.
