What game should get Remake?

So what game you think should get remake and why?

Imo Ultima 7 or whole Ultima Saga should be remade by todays standards. I always loved Ultima's story and world but sadly 8 & 9 were rubbish as they didn't end Ultima's story in way they first intended.

Uncharted Waters: New Horizons. There hasn't been a good sailing game since Sid Meier's Pirates!

Vagrant Story,... I don't understand how a universally praised game could have not even gotten a sequel. Its almost like squeenix wanted it to be some obscure cult favorite.

Personally, I think DND could use a revamp. A total complete revamp. And not just the Game Engines on PC, but the pen and paper too.
Actually for those interested, I think this guy: www.havokrpg.com : is the one to do it. He's just starting out but man, it's the best paper and pencil engine I've seen in my life, and I've seen enough to fill a hobby shop.

If he could get into Bethesda or something we'd have a monster on our hands!

Phantasy Star 4, then if they have time 2, 1, and 3 in that order.
I loved those games and I would love to see them as full open world RPGs as we see them today... like Fallout 3 style.

Could never get into PSO which seemed to take away all the depth and character of the series.

This is going to sound like blasphemy or something...but Baldur's Gate. Imagine that game with a good gameplay, better romances (or more...) and modern graphics (think Crysis or ME).

I'd play that game until I'd die.

I agree with Paragon Fury on Oni deserving a remake. Or a sequel. Whichever.
But I think the Chrono games (Trigger and Cross) really deserve remakes as well. Not ports, like the DS Trigger (as great as that was), but full-on remakes. Come on Square. If not a remake, then that promised third game.

This. FF6 was probably the pinnacle point of Final fantasy story, and I guess 7 too... just to save me from the fires of the flames...

Any space-sim game that was good, like Freespace or X-wing or Wing Commander, because and just because the genre is pretty much dead and given how awesome it was and the technology we have now it could only get better, I mean we need that genre back!
Besides who does not love spaceships?

I honestly think that the obscure game that is Crash Bash should get a remake. I have never been so pissed off at a retail game while enjoying it at the same time. Don't believe me when I say a Crash game can be ridiculously hard? Watch this play through of possibly the most brutal challenge in the game, second only to the final boss in the game.

EDIT: I realize he makes this look easy, but this challenge brings SO MUCH PAIN. If you ever have the chance to play this game/level, do it, and prepare for pain.
