So my family does our Christmas shopping early, and as usual when the time comes I never know what to games to get. I have a list as long as my arm, I just can't remember what's on it...
So I thought I'd ask you guys, then use your choices as reference.
So without further ado: What games are on your Christmas list?

I seriously have a problem with starting sentences with the word "So"...

I don't know about your gaming preferences (which you might want to mention), but at this Black Friday I'll be looking out for Assassin's Creed 3, Dishonored, and Hitman Absolution, to name a few recent and upcoming releases. I just love my action games, especially when they include stealth.

I think I've sufficiently recovered from Pokemon burnout now, so I'll also be looking to get Pokemon Black/White 2 (haven't decided which version), and/or Pokemon Conquest. The newest Paper Mario and Professor Layton also have my attention. I love portable rpg's, so if anyone can recommend some other non-Pokemon rpg's for my 3DS/DS, I would appreciate it.

I'm not really asking for recommendations, I just want to know what YOU'RE getting.

Assassins' Creed 3
Mists of Pandaria(depending on whether I can afford it before Christmas)
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Persona 4(same as Pandaria)
maybe Sleeping Dogs

I am really hoping for the steam Christmas sales to help me out with everything but Pandaria. There are other things I want but I can't think of them right now.

I get some money from my grandfather every Christmas, and this year I intend to use it to pick up XCOM Enemy Unknown, and after that I'll get a few Wii games off Amazon.co.uk (Europe and Australia aren't mutually region locked, thank God) depending on how much I have left over. The shortlist so far is Guilty Gear XX AC+ (currently own normal Accent Core), Muramasa: The Demon Blade (I don't think eight copies of it are going to get bought between then and now), and if I have enough left over after that, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Sorry, I was a little confused regarding your purpose for this thread, but now I understand.

I do share some of your pain, though. After reading the other posts, I remembered several other games I'm interested in getting:

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (my avatar should have reminded me >.<)
Sleeping Dogs (demo was fun, and new IPs need all the support they can get)
Persona 3 (PSN download, maybe?) Don't have a Vita, so no Persona 4: Golden.=(
Xenoblade
The Last Story
Borderlands 2
Resident Evil: Revelations

First-world problems, huh? For every game I buy, there's several other great ones I'm missing out on, mostly from not having time for all of them. I also have a few PC games downloaded that I always forget are there, and thus have yet to be played (I'm primarily a console gamer). Hopefully I'll get to them, along with any new games I get over my upcoming breaks from school.

None. I'm just happy spending some time with the family during Christmas. >.> (Then again, the Dutch generally don't celebrate Christmas with presents. We have 'sinterklaas' for that.)

But if I had to pick:
Tales of Graces F (ps3)
Mass Effect Trilogy (pc)

Especially the ME trilogy for pc. I have 2 and 3 for ps3 now, but I like mouse/keyboard a lot better and the graphics are better too on pc. Plus, it'll allow me to play ME1 again, and have all the dlc's for each game. I currently have the games without any dlc.

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation
Ratchet and Clank: Q-force

No other games planned as of right now. I'll probably get AC3 a couple of months after I'm done with Liberation though.

Spec Ops:The Line because why not I haven't played a shooter in awhile

Code Of Princess:Though that may be more of a present to myself as it seems to be a bit hard to find in stores and I hate troubling people with a hard to find game.

I'm pretty well on top of my 'gotta pick that up' list. Already have a WiiU and New Super Mario Bros. U preordered, and I'll be picking up LittleBigPlanet Karting tomorrow. Other than that, nothing I can think of coming out before next year... Well, every game I want on the horizon doesn't have a release date set for Australia, so no idea when I'll be picking them up.

XCOM enemy unknown

Guild wars 2

Hitman: Absolution

Fallen enchantress

Castle crashers

Men of War (possibly, not sure if i should get it or not as i've already bought and played CoH)

Might also get sims castaway stories. Not sure about this one though.

Just make a notepad document of games that seem interesting to you, when you first find out about them. Then you can keep adding to it, and you'll know what games you want much easier.

A NES, Contra, Ghosts N Goblins, Battletoads, and Mega Man 2.

I've had enough with emulators, time for the real deal!

Dishonoured, Assasins' Creed 3, any of a host of indie games that pop-up during the Steam Winter Sale. I'm not entirely decided yet, I'm also thinking of getting a PS2 to get a good a backlog of gaming classics that I have yet to play.

I think I'll probably be getting myself a ps3. The price has come down to a more reasonable level, and there's a decent amount of games I want for it.

Either that or a ds, so I don't have to borrow my brother's all the time.

Hitman Absolution when it comes out. Operation Flashpoint Red River, Asura's Wrath, Catherine, and Sniper Elite V2.

Those would have to be the games I really want to get my hands on, that I don't already have. There are a few quality issues with some, but I want them for a well rounded catalog and gaming experience.
