For me, it's arcade games. While, at times, they can be very fun, but they're also the most frustrating to me because you JUST couldn't reach the certain time mark or certain score. I can eat myself of frustration when that happens.

The chugging frame rate of Saints Row 2 on the PC irritates the hell out of me.
Super Mario Galaxy - some of the purple coin challenges are broken-bottle-fornicatingly annoying.
Actraiser - great game, but there are a few moments that raise my blood pressure.

Hmmm I think Demon's Souls takes the cake. Although it's also one of my favs. But shit sometimes it's so, so frustrating.
Also, FFXIII is frustrating. Nothing to do with difficulty, it's just kinda boring although I'm almost done so I'll just polish it off then trade it in.

Games that encourage trial-and-error gameplay with death as the punishment for failure and then proceed to advertise "highly challenging" as one of its selling points. That's not challenging, it's just fucking irritating!
