What games should be remade?

I think Command and Conquer: Renegade could be remade into a passable game. In its current state it plays out as Captain Generic takes on the most faceless enemies I've ever seen, interspersed with completely cardboard villain characters and occasional bullshit-fights.

It'd have to be completely stripped from head to toe. New graphics, retune all the enemies, make building destruction actually satisfying, ect...

Not really; that thread's more about reviving the old classic series and making new games than about remaking individual games.

On-topic: I'd have to agree strongly with Chrono Trigger; I'd also go with Super Metroid and all of the Commander Keen games (which would be incredibly awesome in 3D, by the way).

In that case I reckon a 3D Super Metroid would work pretty well.
