This week's discussion topic is: Summer is almost here. What games will you be playing to get you through the slow summer months?

I'll continue to work my way through Dragon Quest V, attempt to understand the appeal of The Sims 3 and maybe get into a little bit of Prototype action as well.

Oh yeah, and Ghostbusters - it's gotta happen.

Some Prototype and inFAMOUS as of right now, and hopefully Brutal Legend (If thats even released this summer, I'm oblivious as to the release date.)

Ghostbusters, Puzzle Quest, Persona 4, I have plenty of games to keep me occupied.

I just bought Fallout 3 (I was holding off until I completed 1 & 2), so that looks like devouring much of my time. Also Snake Eater, which I just bought recently after having bought *THREE* defective copies!!

On a slightly more leftfield tack, I've been sinking unreal amounts of time into WipeOut Pulse on the PSP.

...which reminds me, I also bought Monster Hunter. I think I won't see much of summer 09.

Buying a PS3, my first next gen console and with all the money I'm going to make from a full time job I'll catch up on any games I've missed. (recommendations welcomed)

I'm currently finally playing all the way through KotoR, and I'll be playing it's sequel for the first time when I'm done.

After that, another play through of Mass Effect (I'm in a very BioWare mood recently, what with The Old Republic and Mass Effect 2).

Once I'm done with those, I'll probably just dabble in Half Life, Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger, and maybe a little Warcraft 3.

I picked up Prototype on Tuesday, so I'll definitely be playing that for a while longer. I'll probably try and get through BioShock and Mass Effect again, if only to prep myself for their respective sequels. I've been having my transportation and out-of-the-house time occupied by Patapon 2, and I've barely scratched the surface of that game.

As for upcoming titles... Arkham Asylum will be amazing, though I guess that's more a fall title than summer. I can't wait for Ghostbusters, though. That's going to be so awesome, it's not even funny.

And here I just realized that I didn't get a pre-order for it. Rargh.

As for me, Metal Gear Solid 4 is always fun, and I'll be picking up Prototype and Killzone 2 this weekend.

Also, after watching (and drooling over) everything on Mass Effect 2 at E3, it has made me want to replay the original.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires. Maybe Overlord 2 too. But DW6E will be MORE than enough.

I'm replaying mass effect two right now, once that is done....I will probably download the pitt and broken steel for fallout 3 and give that game a once through again.

Probably at some point I will rent fear 2 and prototype.....then I guess I will finish dead space if I have to (what a waste of money that game was)

might go retro and complete final fantasies 9 through 12. Once teh GCSEs are done im gonna have a lot of time on my hands =p. i'll also complete guitar hero metallica on all instruments as well

I'm assuming you meant "too".

I'd definitely get the downloadable stuff for Fallout 3. It raises the level cap. Makes the game a lot better.

I'm hoping to play the apparent lucid god send that is Prototype as of tomorrow. If that get's boring, which of course it eventually will, I may pick up Team Fortress 2 and see if that's really as good as people say.

While I'm waiting for my 360 to get back from repairs, I'll continue to play a lot of TF2. I might relapse and play WoW as well.
