What genre cross over would you most like to see i.e. Halo Wars - CHAT WITH THE STAFF!

This week's discussion topic: Games associated with a particular genre sometimes do crossovers as, is the case with Halo Wars and Super Mario RPG. What game do you think is ripe for a good cross over. Have fun with it.

I think we can all agree that an FPS Mario is a great idea. Barring that, a Shadow of the Colossus Rogue-like.

InFamous with Mario. Cole would blow up everything in the mushroom kingdom.

Ico with Resident Evil. Imagine the zombie horde being beaten off by a demon-child with a flaming stick...

Portal with TF2. Not really all that much more to say.

Zelda with CoD: Modern Warfare. Boomerangs, magic powder and arrows traded for grenades and guns. Also it would be awesome to see Captain Price in that green hat!

Mirrors Edge with Zeno Clash, then add RPG elements to decide if you end up more like Jade or ...Um, Zeno Clash man. Zat or something.

A sort of Fire Emblem RPG, crossed with a WWII game like CoD, perhaps seeing you on a quest similar to that of Saving Private Ryan. It'd mean you really would care when your men were dying.

Left 4 Dead rts/fps. As in one player controls how the zombies act, taking the place of the AI director, and the survivors act normally

I'd like a MMORPG with God of War like combat.

Something like Puzzle Quest Galactrix would make a good MMORPG with combat puzzles.

That's what turns me off most MMORPG's: banal combat. Clicking on someone 'til they go "owie" and falls downs.

L4D rpg, or maybe a strategy game. An end of the world zombie apocalypse, trying to gather resources, stay alive, manage alliances with other survivors. Maybe some sort of "clean" town that needs defending and managing. It would be awesome.

Id quite like to see Dawn of war as a turnbased strategy game. I love turn based games, as long as the AI is up to scratch. There are not too many of them at the moment. Not fashionable.

If Mario's going to have guns it has to be a TPS. Gears of War with Koopa Troopas? They already have the armour.

I think a RTS crossover with Mario could be interesting. Where you control the mushroom kingdom and have to stop koopa hordes etc.

A call of duty MMO, make a guy, join an army, kill others...

Golden Sun FPS. I have no idea how on Earth that could possibly work but it sounds awesome.

They actually have a source mod like that. One guy gets to be the commander who plays an RTS and directs the units, which are played by like 32 other people in an FPS. It's pretty cool, it's called Empires.
