Explanation: Many people think that to make it in this civilization, one has to compromise regarding ones own integrity. And if one wants to be accepted by many people, that may even be true.
Still, I never made that "your soul here, for fitting in"-deal and accepted the consequences. I'd rather have a more difficult life than a self-deceptive one. Actually, if in doubt, i'd rather die than betray me.
With this, i don't mean that i never lie to others (though, if efficient i prefer to avoid this), nor do i mean that i on every occassion have to slap my opinion into someone elses face. What i described only was concerned with how i deal with me.

I was a computer science major, but according to my employer interviews I am apparently years ahead of any college senior that they've seen in quite a long time.
It got my a job at Microsoft and gave me the opportunity to turn down a job offer from Amazon, which made me feel awesome.

Yeah, alright, I admit; nothing. Absolutely fuck-all gives me a sense of self-worth. When I look at myself I see the black sheep of my family, that guy that looked oh so promising, rolled through high-school but ultimatly did absolutely nothing with himself. I have no skills, not even hobby-related, nothing that makes me worth a damn in this world to anyone.
Oh, yeah, what I usually think; well I got a lot of love to give. Hah, oh boy, now that's fooling myself. No girl who seems to care about that...

it's gotta be my amazing natural ability at almost every sport i try (one of the only exceptions is hockey i can't skate for shit) but the problem is i get bored when i get too good cause it's no fun when you play sub par competition that and being a student athlete is like commiting educational suicide.
Decorating my room with a month's work of revision posters for my A - Level exams and (hopefully) having them pay off. There's more posters than wall at the moment and I think I might leave them there for awhile longer as a monument to my perseverence.
