What happened to all the shows?

ok, can someone explain to me what happened to some of the shows that were on the escapist? there was doraleaous and associates, unforgotten realms (i know it was moved to another site, by why?), top 5 with Lisa Foiles (SP?), daily drop, rebbecca mayes's muse (dont miss that), game dogs (or whatever it was, regardless, i dont miss that either), and im sure there is more. What happened? im not asking for research or anything, but does anyone know anything?

Without speaking about specifics, since I don't that many, it's the entertainment business. Contracts expire and don't get renewed for one reason or another. Most of those people probably have multiple other projects (for example: Daily Drop was a side project by the LRR crew and all the footage for it was taken of a very short period of time) that may take priority and they can't continue to regularly produce content. Etc Etc.

If the show is popular, the creators enjoy making it and both the Escapist and the creator benefit from doing it, it sticks around for a long, long time.

D&A: No clue
Unforgotten Realms: You answered it yourself
Top 5: She said she was going on a hiatus
Daily Drop: They did a series finale, they had been dropping stuff for quite some time
Mayes Muses: No clue
Game Dogs: I'm certain that it had too many negative responses, or the people lost interest

I do look some of this up, but usually I find no results on why these shows stopped.

D&A should come back hopefully eventually. Never seen UR. I never really got into the others on the list.

At the moment I'm missing Shamus Young's work. I'm mostly content with what we have currently however.
