The escapist, like the internet, is a treasure trove of data relating to many things. Everyday is another chance to learn something new. I want you to tell me one or several things you have learned on this site today. They can be anything from jokes to news to insight.

So, my fellow escapists, what have you learned on the Escapist today?

The site is still much the same as yesterday. Astonishingly, this has been true for the past few days. In other words, today is the same as yesterday which was the same as the day before, which was the same as the day before, which was the same as the day before, and so on, creating what's known in professional circles as a chrono-informational fnargleblobble.

Oh, the things we learn.

I learned that if I forget to respond to a pm before I go to bed I probably won't have a new one when I get home from work the following afternoon, go figure.

I learned that a man from Fitchburg likes young girls. Why can't that city catch a break?

That the staff does respond to user criticism, if you directly address them.

I learned that Fox News is full of uninformed twats that think videogames can turn normal children into rapists.

I mean, yeah, I knew they were full of crap, but I didn't think they were THAT stupid (silly me).

Outside of the Escapist, I learned something very handy. Nerds will pay big bucks for small plastic toys from the late ninties. Made a killing on eBay today selling Power Rangers morphers.

I have no issues with them at the present time. It was just from me observing the Moderation Team User Group, where Susan Arendt
did respond to someone else after being directly addressed.

That's about all I've learned on the site today though. Still, apparently that's more than others.

That people still find Fox News' stupidity newsworthy and that stupid British mothers will complain to the media when they essentially leave a 'go crazy' pass for their stupid fat kids to buy a shit ton of virtual stuff. (ok, I first read that on GamesRadar, but I read it here too so I'll count it)

Like with a pen and a stamp? Yeah that'll learns 'um.
Well if anything it shows you care enough that you'd spend the money and take the time and effort to do something like that. They'd also be obliged to read it as opposed to shrugging off an Email or comment they didn't like.

I learnt that truth is no defense in the eyes of Escapist mods. I'll remember that and adjust my actions accordingly.

It's just weird to see that word plural.

I learned that people can feel like they know it all about something after reading one sentence in a book and throwing it away.
