So, with Cage The Elephant having just released their new single

and Gorillaz releasing theirs

My two favorite bands are doing pretty good. What have your favorite bands been doing? New singles, new albums?
Vids encouraged.

Crossfade have their third album coming out early next year, in the meantime they're mucking around on Twitter.

Dream Theater just got inducted into the Long Island Rock Hall of Fame. Sadly, this is after their drummer, who was with them for more than 25 years, left the band.

System of a Down is still on hiatus.

Avenged Sevenfold is on tour in Europe.

Disturbed is probably touring or getting ready to tour since they just recently released a new album.

Considering the great Ronnie James Dio is dead, I would say that Dio is not up to a whole lot.

Queens of the Stone Age are on a little hiatus, unfortunately. The last thing they did was re-release an old album with some bonus b-sides - all of which I have already heard.

Def Leppard are working on their new studio album, and should have finished a live album/DVD, although news on that is pretty slim.

Guns n Roses released Chinese Democracy not too long ago.

Though, they were missing my favorite part of the band:

SLASH! MY ROCK GOD!

He's in Velvet Revolver, and while I don't see them doing much lately, their song, Slither, is damn good.

Redefining "nerdgasm."

The young man said "I will never give up"
The inner war I can hold against it
My mind, my mind...My mind's in darkness

The young man says "I will never give in!"
The prophecy Behold It's true
I conquer the flame
To release the insane
I'm crying
I cannot erase
I'm the dragon reborn
and in madness I soon shall prevail
Twice I'll be marked and
Twice I shall live
The heron sets my path And names me true
Twice I'll be marked and
Twice I shall die
My memory's gone But twice I pay the price

<color=black>Wheel of Time
Save my soul
find a way
May it be as the pattern has chosen
Oh, Wheel of Time!

Queen no longer exists, Disturbed just released the single "Animal" (and it is awesome), Led Zeppelin no longer exists, and I have no idea what Breaking Benjamin is up to.

Well, Rhapsody of Fire released their newest album (The Frozen Tears of Angels) a few months ago, and it's safe to say they're still amazing (even better, I'd say).

Iced Earth doesn't seem to be up to much new right now, touring in South America I believe.

Also, I've heard that Symphony X is coming out with a new album this year.....I can't wait.

The Mars Volta are working on their next studio album, and possibly another live compilation album.
God only knows what The Residents are doing.
And Boris just finished their European tour. I hope they come to Australia next year.

Coldplay and The Killers are both working on a new album, and Gorillaz is coming to my town on December 3rd.

Led Zeppelin is still no more, R.I.P. John Bonham

The Rolling Stones are hopefully going on tour...maybe... even though they're 60+ seeing them live would still be incredible

Mute Math... hmm not really sure what they've been up to lately, most likely working on new material
