What headwear does the Escapist prefer?

As I troll the Escapist forums, looking for meaningful things to post on, I notice a lot of people referencing their Trilbys and such. And so I wonder, what do all of the people of the Escapist perscribe to fend off head nakedness? Personally, I'm continually torn between my checkered Fedora/Trilby/whatever-the-hell-it's-called, and my baseball cap for a local sports team. The former looks awesome, but the latter actually provides sun protection. So what is it for you all?

I'm more of a scarf person, really. I just wish classy hoods and cloaks were socially acceptable these days...
They look amazingly comfortable, like the ancestor of the Snuggie.
If I am going to wear a hat, I like one of those cute, sort of puffy hats. Lord knows what they're called.

I wear fedoras, baseball caps, and sombreros.
And fedoras are different from trilbies.

Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap. Used to wear it pretty much daily. Not any more, now it's only a couple times per month.

i do enjoy my toques but since where i am living is going through a heat wave right now it is not appropriate actually a sun hat is better
i enjoy tight hats my personal fave is something in this

Depends. Fedoras, top hats, bowler hats, Victorian hats, cyberwear hair extensions/falls... It all comes down to where im going and what im wearing.

Brown felt cowboy-type hat. The kind you see hikers wearing from time to time... not the kind tossers who wish they were from Texas wear these days. Started wearing it on my move to Oregon (haha oregon trail) and have not gotten tired of the awesome.

And the wider brim that goes all around really helps with the sun/rain.

I have a variety of hats. My trucker hat, my beanies, my "thug" (flatbilled) hats, but I have to say my favorite is My Fidel Castro style patrol cap.

I like them because you can put it up or down with no effort, if I head bang hard enough I can get it on without touching it.

And hoodies keep me mark at the same time.

Baseball caps mostly, especially my Chicago Cubs camo hat. I used to wear an artic camo hat that I got in Greece, but it's a little wors for wear so I decided to retire it after three years of faithful service.
