I recently started a conversation with a friend which went something like this;
Me: You know what i really hate about the world?
Friend: Erm is it everything?
I like reading other peoples rants on here, well the good ones....the ones that actually have something somewhat interesting to say behind it all, where you read along thinking corr this guys a bit of a miserable bastard but fuck me he sure has a point! Can't really say i care much for the teen angsty "I'm in love with this girl im perfect for her but she'd rather be with the guy who smacks her down flights of stairs"
To clear it up once and for all....Life isn't fair... most of the time it just gets harder! But then eventually it gets better just in time for you to have your own children and watch them say the exact same things you did like they are the first generation to ever have problems and you can sit back and think "Wasnt i a stupid little whiner" Bottom line is SHE IS NOT WORTH IT! Shess only perfect in your head or else she would choose you rather then the guy who steals from her purse so instead of crying about it go learn to play the piano or take an evening class in another language. Learn a useful skill do something to enrich your life that will stay with you for ever because you will soon forget her....
Glad we have cleared that up lets never mention it again!
Anyway i was going somewhere,theres been a distinct lack of interesting rants recently either people have just got happier or just got so disgusted about the state of things in the world they can no longer even bring themselves to write about it without prizing the spacebar off and using it to slit their own throats. And as i said i enjoy those rants its like the saying goes misery loves company and its comforting to know theres other people out there watching all the good in the world disappear down the toilet and we can all raise our glasses on the final flush and toast to the memory of all that once was decent.
Again i digress, i've wrote a half page rant about how there isnt any enough good rants...does this even have a point? dont i have anything better to do with my time? and is anyone even going to bother reading this?
No is the answer to all of these questions so I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread and invite people to air their interesting rants about "what I hate about the world" for nothing more then my morbid amusement.
So go on complain about something!
