What if video games had different heroes?

Due to Game announcing they wouldn't be stocking Mass Effect 3 after I had pre-ordered it, I received a £5 voucher for their website, with which I bought Dead Space. As I was playing Dead Space, I thought, 'If it wasn't for Mass Effect, I wouldn't be playing this', which then led me onto what I thought was an interesting idea.

What if, instead of playing as Isaac Clarke, I played Commander Shepard sniping and biotic punching my way through the Ishimura? What if, instead of standing silently as other character talk around me, I could hit on Nicole then pull a paragon/renegade interupt on her?

So basically, what video game characters would you like to see in another game and why?

Solid Snake in Resident Evil. Talk about getting shit done, he'd have been in and out of the Arklay mansion before S.T.A.R.S even had a chance to hear about the place. He'd cancel out the rest of the series by exposing Umbrella before the Raccoon City outbreak...

Also looking at Dead Space, what if I were playing it as Bayonetta or Kratos... I can just imagine the wicked weaves tearing the limbs from Necromorphs with comic joy.

What if I played through Call of duty multiplayer as Jackie Estacado or a Predator. That would be great, even better if I could hear the raging 12 year olds scream at me as I tear out their spines with glee.
