So I'm looking for a new DS game to play and I'm wondering what not well known DS games are worth trying?

Ever heard of Infinite Space? Here's the trailer

It's a space RPG type of game. It got different mixtures of games put together like Fire Emblem (you get characters to join your crew and to have to utalise their skills by assign them to the right roles in your ship) and a bit of Pokemon (you collect different spaceship blueprint). The actual game battle is very simple (rock, paper and scissor type of battle). Lastly the story is well in dept.
Since Platinum game made it you know it's good.

Okamiden, maybe? I think it is the DS' best game, despite not being as good as the orignal game.

Radiant Historia. Nifty rpg with tactical combat elements. I've seen it compared to Chrono Trigger on more than one occasion.

Play The Dark Spire, Etrian Odyssey, Radiant Historia, Strange Journey, Devil Survivor, Infinite Space and 999.

That's what I would do if I had a DS.

The Dark Spire. I try to bring this game up whenever possible because it's awesome. It's a very old-shcool dungeon crawler, kind of like the three Etrian Odyssey games (they are great too), but it's more WRPG, when Etrian Odyssey is more JRPG. And the art style is great:
It's a shame so few people have played it.

Ghost Trick is also really good. It's like a point and click adventure game, kind of. There's a lot of reading, but the story is really interesting, and the puzzles are fun. And again, great art style.

I've already beaten it and enjoyed it crazy amounts.

Right. I'm afraid about 95% of my DS games are RPGs or platformers, or RPG-platformers, so if you want something else, I can't really help.

Still, maybe you could try Contra 4, if you want a real challenge. Or Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. It's a puzzle game with a fantasy theme and story. A bit like Puzzle quest, except different (really informative, I know).

The World Ends with You.

Literally, the only game I've got on ds, I've completed it 6 times without getting bored.

well, any castlevania game on the ds. mario and luigi, bowser's inside story.

and a action rpg: soma bringer. think like diablo II. it is a solid game, but it drags on for long, i never finish it, but i can suggest it.

and if you like ghost trick, try ace attorney phoenix wright. ok, it is a point-and-click adventure game, but a great one at that.

Oh. I thought it was a "Only RPGs and platformers huh? Nothing else?" -type of comment.

Most of the games I was going to recommend have been mentioned already anyway.

There is Giana Sisters DS, if you can find a copy. It was a bit too easy, but still fun.
Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja and the sequel are good too. They're kind of simplified roguelikes with a funny/annoying main character (I thought she was funny, but I can see why someone would find her annoying).
