We all know what sturgeon's law is, 90% of everything is crap. However, I am a firm believer in an unofficial second part of the law. The remaining 10% more than makes up for it. For example, fan art. There are a lot of crappy sketches out there and a lot of them that are well drawn are just...weird. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about there and I don't want to get banned so I'm not going to go into detail there. Anyway everyone once in awhile while cruising across the internet, you come across some fan art that makes you stand back and go "holy crap that is awesome." This happened to me today when I came across this. Now let me ask you something, what happenes when you combine Smough the Executioner and Ornstein the Dragonslayer from Dark Souls with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? The answer is...this.

There is some amazing fan art out there. It always depresses me a little - one of the key skills that I wish I had was drawing. I'd love to just be able to sit down and sketch, and the outcome wouldn't look like a heavy-handed ten year old's piece of school art work...

Some Scorpion fan art here, Scorpion usually doesn't change much game to game so its nice seeing him look different for a change.

Yeah the Legion one is brilliant. I actually have as my main laptop background a tribute to three characters who died on my run through who I really liked using his art.

I don't know if this is the most awesome fan art ever, but it's definitely up there. The whole first season summed up in one image.
