Not distance necessarily, I mean like: took a job you didn't want, learnt an instrument?

My high school sweetheart wanted me to go to college...I took a year at a CC before dumping it and breaking up with her.

My current relationship used to be long distance but nearly 500 miles later that isn't an issue anymore. I think that's a bigger transition than going to a school I didn't want to in the first place even if it is distance related. Totally worth it.

I haven't done it yet (will probably next yr) but I'm willing to travel to Canada/La(depending where she is at time) to visit this girl I talk to. Sucks that I have so much in common with her but live in the UK.

So yeh...thats a long way

...When would you need to learn to play an instrument?
The furthest i've gone for a girl was mudering with death rays...
or was that AT her?
Meh, still took some effort, she should be humbled!
Now back to my evil lair where i can cry in lonliness.

When I started dating the love of my life, her ex had four months before meeting the girl he left her for, and I waited those four months, fully in love with her, knowing that if he wasn't satisfied with his decision, my girlfriend would leave me and go back to him.

I broke up with her shortly after... :B
Good call.
Luckily mine doesn't ask me to go see shitty movies (she doesn't like them herself), but she goes with me to see superhero-movies and other good stuff. =D
She's a keeper!

A girl once went out with me partly because i'm really nice but mostly because i play guitar.

Good luck in finding a girl with your same interest to cry in an evil lair. Im sure if you do meet somone you will be able to take over the world with her and live in happiness whilst the rest of us slave away under your wrath :p

I haven't really gone out with many guys or girls so i haven't really done much.

I proposed marriage. I still think I can go further. Actually engaging in that whole marriage thing, creating loud children, go through a long stretch of each other's company, etc. So yeah, I think that's on the table...

Always getting the slightly late bus, that this girl got on. As a result, I'd be late for every morning lesson.

Not worth it.

I think "talk to her" is currently the most extreme thing I've done. Keep in mind for me it takes 2 months to get my nerve up to do something like that...

A Hermit's Cave
...

Recovery from severe PTSD to vague sociability along with some shit here and there is as far as I've gone. I'd've gone further if I had any balls...

The furthest I've gone for a guy is to literally drive about 1000 miles to go spend a few days with him in his hometown. We had been online friends for 5 years at that point so I figured we should meet up.

I regret it. He was confident and fun online...but socially awkward and almost creepy IRL. T-T

That kinda sounds like someone I know: me.

OP: I vaguely recall adding a girl on MSN, having one conversation and never hearing from her again. That's life for ya, or rather, the internet.

I haven't gone very far because I've never been interested in having a relationship til about a year ago, but I did take what was probably a 2 hour detour on my way home from uni one night to make sure a girl got where she needed to be safely.

I went to live in Romania for a couple of weeks. Definitely worth it, even if the food was... just... not as good.

I walked 500 miles and I would walk 500 more! Bonus points if you recognize the reference.

Anyways, I've never done anything with any importance. I usually try to make girls like me, rather than show them who much I like them.

My GF(?) currently(??) (we fight a lot) flew up to Canada from the states. So.

Drastically trying to improve my endurance running and trying to be more productive in general.

So really, just trying to be the best I could be just so I could say to myself I deserve to be with her. But of course self-esteem has this strange thing of never being satisfied, but I think that can be excused considering who she was.
