I don't know if this thread is already posted, so I apologize in advance.

As the title says, what is THE most hardest level, area, boss, situation you've encountered?

I can only recall a recent one in Fallout 3 where I had almost NO ammo left and 3 Super Mutants to pass. So I was in a bit of a pickle.

I'd like to hear yours. Discuss. ;p

When I was a kid I always was unable to do Pinstripe Potaroo (I think thats his name) on the first crash bandicoot.

Last week I downloaded it on my psp from Playstation Store and I complete the whole game in a day. Curse my Kid-Self for sucking so badly.

Ocarina of Time - The Water Temple.

For some reason, I just can never do that. Everything else in that game and most others I'm fine with, but I've never once managed to even get up to Shadow Link in that level. It just seems to mess with ma brainz.

I know exactly what you mean. I can't remember exactly what game, but I ditched it because my idiot kid-self couldn't complete a level. And now I finished it no sweat.

There's a train level in Urban Chaos: Riot Response that I've attempted many times and just can't beat. Surprise surprise, it's an escort mission with spawning dual-uzi wielding baddies. So I'm not too amazed that I find it hard.

Water Temple? Pah, I can do that in my sleep. It's only hard if you forget which Ocarina spot controls which water spout.

I've also banged my head against Chaos Theory's Battery level many times. Me and timed missions don't go well together. And really? Timed missions in a STEALTH game?

Time Splitters 2, robot factory, medium difficulty co-op.

No I'm dead serious. Me and my friend have been trying to get past that freaking level for days straight, never getting even close to finish it. I'm not a bad gamer and he's of the "games nowadays are way too easy" attitude, that level just seems made to be impossible. And what bothers me the most is that it's medium difficulty! I really don't want to see what it's like on hard.

There was a level of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest that I was stuck on for years. I can't remember what it was called, but there were spikes everywhere and the only way to get around them were barrels. I wanna say Stickerbrush Symphony, but I'm not sure.

I've got plenty.

For example, the run up to the final boss battle in Jak 3 really screwed me over, since I suck at using the Light Jak Flight power.

I always struggled at the Dahaka chases in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within as well, they were always frantic and I always missed my landing or something at the last second.

Oh, and the final boss fight in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. In fact, any of the gun turret levels in that game were stupidly difficult, I found.

you think thats bad? at one point I was facing off against about 6 super mutants, about half of them being brutes, armed to the teeth with gatling lasers, shot guns and the like. What did I have? a hunting. fucking. rifle.

I honestly don't know how I survived that encounter, but dammit, I did it.

There are so many!

Somewhere around the 3rd level in Ikaruga. I need another two sets of brains to finish that game.

And I gave up halfway through Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It asked me once if I was sure I didn't want to play it on easy mode. Now I'm kinda waiting till it ask if I want it to play the game for me.

Haha! That's awesome. I did survive it too, just with a lousy pistol and the ammo they dropped. \0/

Is GH3: Through the Fire and Flames on Expert allowed in this forum? No? Then probably Tabu from Super Smash Bros Brawl. Me and my sister kept trying that with all different characters, but after the 50millionth go, we managed it.
And it was only on easy.

Was it the ***** in the church? Because she was a huge *****. The whole throwing pillars thing was unnecessary. Once I managed to avoid every pillar in the building and then she summons them out of thin air! What a *****.

From my childhood i'd say the Be Prepared level in the Lion King on the Megadrive. Oh and most parts of Abe's Exoddus/Oddysee. I don't know how many times I used the level skip cheat.

This [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCUPMt-SUiM&feature=related] boss fight in I Wanna Be The Guy.

It really shouldn't be that hard, but having beaten it myself, I can truthfully say that it is one of the most infuriating bosses I've ever fought.

I never passed the jumping puzzle room in Dark Messiah with the giant spiders all over the walls without a cheat. Everything else in the game, I cleared with almost no problem, including the end boss. But those goddamn spiders got me every time...
