Hey the title says it, me, I'd personally go for "You're a 1000 year old Australian who looks like he's 35, and he works as a commercial director. One day you are attacked by millions upon millions of 2000 year old men with laptops and..." that's as far as I've gotten with it so far, OH and its plays like Serious Sam, Doom or Quake. You know what I mean.

Well, it involves stickmen, but since it's my actual current idea for a game, I'll be a ***** and keep quite about it until I'm a millionare _>

There's a massive fight emerging in the nursing home and you, Fred Sarvano are a hardened war vet at the ripe ol' age of 85. Dawning your helmet you proceed to mow down Elderly and nurses as you make your way to the escape bus in the back of the nursing home. That's my game. Heh. Would be fun.

A gangly father fights an army responsible for the death of his wife and daughter. Clad in junky steampunk armour, He fights a variety of soldiers and zombies to find the secret of time travel. At the climax he travels into the past from an abandoned research complex hidden in an undead infested jungle to save his family. Walking away from his bewildered past life he throws himself off a large tower, as he should never have existed anyway.
Or something to that effect.

A game where you play a war veteran trapped in a hospital full of crazy people or monsters or something. The twist is that you've lost the use of your legs and have to get around in a wheel chair. The amount of strategy and careful planning you'd have to do for combat, simply because you're confined to the chair, would probably be more than most people could handle. It'd also make level design a lot more logical since a simple stair case or knocked over bed really would stop your progress.

I have ideas for a couple of actual games, but for most random...

You've got a coyote, a catapult, and a turtle, and you're running through an eternally moonlit desert, trying to piece things together. One of those old-school train schedule things (you know, the things that click and clack when they change schedules) greets you into each new area, and at the same time it's your enemy: every time it clacks, a new enemy/obstacle/threat pops up into view. You need to find materials to build something that can get to the moon, but you need to be careful: the man on the moon is watching you, and can snipe your vehicle and you with his homemade cheese gun.

It was part of a dream, don't ask -_-.

You play as a kangaroo and you team up with an angler fish to stop an evil organization from polluting a venician style city in feudal japan.

I'm liking indigo's idea.

a game where you write down your ideas for games! ITS GENIUS!!
And then its connected to PSN (or XBL, but I'm making a reference)! And you can share your ideas with others! And six months later, Sony comes out with a very similar game with no mention of you!

i game where an advanced alien cyborg descends from space claiming to be jesus and proceeds to wipe the world clean of puritans and celery with his trusty bong. His power ups are all different drugs and its set in a alternate 12th centuary where the romans empire still existed and ruled the world.

The hero must use his super-natural powers to end a international conflict and bring world peace, creating a thriving utopia where everyone is happy. However, his considerable god-like powers are fueled by the scorn, hatred, and malice of those around him. so, in a nutshell, his goal is to make everyone happy but his powers only work when everyone is unhappy.

The entire situation would become hilariously counter-productive and convoluted. I love it.

Bah, I'll probably be making some half-assed conventional FPS/RPG if I ever do.

i once got an idea for a graphic novel (basically a comic book with a real story and a real end, like manga usually is and all comics should be), and i eventually decided it would be a pretty good video game with some changes obviously. anyway its kinda like prince of persia, only its non linear, and you get interesting new tools and weapons, so i guess its got some zelda in it, but those are the best series ever anyway.
