If the Internet was a country what would be the national anthem? What stirring piece of music best sums up this nation? What would bring tears of patriotic love to the eyes of us all?

There is only one candidate for anthem of the internet. It is of course a Devin Townsend penned ditty, it goes by the name Shitstorm and I think it perfectly encapsulates exactly what the internet is all about.

What is the internet, in this context, about?

The sharing of experiences.

We need a song which shows how proud we are to post stuff out for each other, to share ideas, opinions, findings, art.

Ideally, it should reflect a general feel for our culture, we are:
Fun-loving
Curious
Energetic

So it needs to be quick, up-beat, rich and complex.

And as an anthem, it needs to be fairly short, (3mins max), and have plenty of lyrics.

Also since English is kind of the "globish" language nowadays, it should probably be English.
Of course Spanish or French would also be acceptable.

Sorry I can't be much more help, I'm not usually into upbeat, short songs with lyrics.
